"Kota, honey are you sure you are okay for school? Because you just say the word and we can stay home today and watch some movies and relax-"

"Mum, not that hanging out with you all day watching Downton abbey doesn't sound great, but I'm honestly fine." Kota reassures Marie over the breakfast bar.

It was Monday morning at the Rivers household and Marie and myself were trying our hardest to persuade Kota to stay home due to his still healing ribs. The doctors released Kota from the hospital two weeks ago and he had mostly been on bed arrest but he still had another week for them to all be better

"Kota, maybe it is for the best. Just for a few more days whilst your ribs heal."

"Aww not you too Finn." Kota sighs rubbing his hands down his face as we both sat at the breakfast bar whilst Marie made pancakes for us and Lola. "Look, you said Ben could drive us to school, so no motorbike. And besides I wont be doing anything at school apart from sitting, so there is really nothing to worry about." Kota finishes whilst Marie and I give each other sceptical looks.

"If its really what you want..." Marie says. "But no physical exertion. The doctors said for you to take it slow."

"And I will mum, I promise." Kota smiles.

*Beep Beep*

"Thats Ben, we should go Finn." He says, standing up and grabbing both of our back packs, putting his on his back and holding mine whilst grabbing my hand with his free hand.

"Bye mum, Bye Lola." Kota says leaning down and kissing her on the forehead from her baby seat.

"BYE GUYS!" She yells waving causing me to smile. That is too cute.

"Hey lovers" Says Willow from the front seat of the car. "You sure you up for today Rivers?"

"Oh absolutely. Couldn't be more excited to learn" grins Kota as we hop into the back seat of the car and Ben takes off.

"Since when have you ever been excited to learn?" I ask Kota as he rests his hand on my leg, making me blush, thinking about our intimate moment on the weekend.

"Excuse you Greenie, I always put my education first." He says with mock hurt.

"One time in English you literally fell asleep for the whole class." Willow says.

"In Science the other day, you used the bunsen burner to melt your pen." Ben adds looking in the review mirror. "Not saying that it wasn't cool, because it was." He chuckles.

"I'm pretty sure you didn't even show up to History last week." I say.

"Alright! Alright I get it! But from now on I put my education first." He says as we all laugh.

"The day I see that, may be the day I die Kota." I laugh, making him bend down and kiss me on the cheek before whispering "cheeky" in my ear.

By the end of last period enough people had heard about Kota's accident that, girls were flocking to him wishing him to get well. Kota tried to turn them away quickly so that I wouldn't go crazy Finn again. But surprising myself, I told him to try be as polite as possible as they were trying to be nice to him. I only had to glare at one who not so discreetly slipped her phone number to him.

As Willow, Kota and I were walking to our lockers, ready to go home, Ben ran to catch up with us.

"Yo! Kota, you ready?"

"Sure am, lets go man."

"Ready for what?" I ask, confusedly looking between the two.

"Football tryouts. your Boyfriend finally decided to look up on my offer" Ben says.
