Another night of restless sleep.

'Oh how I wish I could be back at home with my parents and my little brothers.'

I miss my home and my family.

I'm beginning to think i'm some sort of leper or something, no one even attempts to strike up conversations with me at school. Thank God I have Tiff, otherwise I would truly believe I was living in Hell.

'And dad thought I had trouble socializing before.'

I Look at the clock: 5am, 'well I guess I can go take some scenic shots, it's been awhile since I allowed myself to photograph anything,' my homesickness always kicks in when I see my camera.

I walk over to my closet and pull out of my safe where I keep my most important or treasured items. I pull out a brand new box, It's a professional Nikon, I had always wanted one since i first heard about them.

That's all i talked about to my parents, Of course they told me no since the one I wanted was close to $4600.

But I remember when I told my parents how my first week went, they were kind of sad but assured me things would get better and I would cheer up soon. The next day I woke up to a wrapped gift sitting on my nightstand with a card. I took the card and read it.

'To our beautiful daughter who we love and miss so much. Happy early Birthday, we're sad that we can't be there with you for your 17th Birthday but rest assured we're still thinking about you. Here's a small gift, we just want you to know that even though life is tough right now and you might only see the ugly, we hope this helps you see the beauty.'

It was my Mother's hand writing, I read it again twice more, tears beginning to fill my eyes. I smiled at the sweetness of the card and knew I was here because I had to keep them safe from the truth of what I really am.

I took the thin plastic wrap off of the box and opened it, pulling out the camera and lens and put the cord around my neck as i quickly read the manual. When I was satisfied I got up put the camera on the bed, and got dressed quickly then decided to make my way to the park.

The park was four blocks away so i borrowed Tiff's car (I can't wait until i get my own, that's one of the advantages Texas has over New York), and went on my way. I decided I was going to take a few rustic shots which would involve me hiking through the woods.

Kinda scary considering that the Sky is just barely starting to pale with the morning sun. But I figured, who's up at this time other than the weird new chick.

I get a few stills of the enormous trees, and as I was walking I actually saw a Doe and her fawn, unfortunately she saw the flash and I could only get a few clear shots. I started making my way deeper into the wildlife and trees and seriously considered turning around and going back to Tiff's place.

When I noticed a clearing in the trees I snap a few shots of the perfect natural archway the trees seemed to create, Framing the sky in the background.

I walk up to the edge and see that i'm standing on what is probably a 12 foot hill, but other than that there is a huge clear blue lake shimmering in the morning glory. It's breath taking, I snap as many stills as I can trying to get different angles and shots of the same subject. When I can think of taking no more shots I let my camera hang at my neck and just admire this scene. As i'm standing there taking it all in I hear a somthing being stepped on.

*snap*

My head jerks around and instantly I notice a handsome Timber grey wolf staqnding there starting at me. His eyes are a steel grey color and he's got patches of the purist white strategically place on his his body. On his paws, his face, and belly and just at the tip of his tail.

At fist glance I thought it was a Siberian Husky, but knew better.

The beautiful creature angled his head making me chuckle a bit to myself, this would be peculiar on a normal wolf so instantly I recognize that this is a werewolf.

"Are you looking at my sweat shirt?" I asked the wolf. "Don't worry it's not another wolf it a husky, but I gotta say your much better looking." I say smiling, knowing the wolf can understand me.

"I wonder if you'll hold still long enough for me to snap a picture?" I murmur. "Ok pretty wolf don't bite me ok, i'm gonna snap a few pics of you..." Inside I know the wolf is a boy but I can't resist calling him pretty.

I take my stance, a slightly arched back and arm loosely hanging slightly above my head to give the illusion of an over head shot. I hold my finger down on the shutter and the camera snaps 20 frames, I crotched down snap a few more pictures making sure to get a few zoomed in close up's to capture his stunning eyes, then I still as I notice the wolf begin to move.

He's now standing or posing I should say in front of the opening in the trees, I now have a perfect shot of the handsome wolf, a few trees, the lake and the gorgeous sunrise. I'm so stoked, all i can do is gasp in awe, I take a few shots then let the camera hang from my neck.

I stand back up "I can't believe the beauty of the this place, Thank you pretty wolf."

I crouch down next to him "Thank you again pretty wolf, can I tell you a secret?" I asked. "I know you can hear and understand me who ever you are, male or female" the wolf kind of whines or moans when I refer to him as a female.

I chuckle "ok sorry, you're a male ok I get it. Anyways I know you can understand me because pretty soon i'll be just like you." I say standing up again and leaning towards him, I run my hand over the wolfs head and marvel at how soft and wispy his fur feels and then coming back to reality I softly say "Until we meet again you handsome beast." I tease.
