Truths Unfold

It's been about a month since everything with Tabby and the Paycos pack happened. We're all back in school and the end of the year is making it's way fast.

Today i'm a nervous wreck.

"My Beauty, calm down. You have nothing to worry about." Deacon said as he sat our lunch tray down and we joined Logan and Tiff at the lunch table.

"Easy for you to say, your parents aren't going to be meeting your Mate."

My parents were finally coming down to Texas.

Mom and dad had been meaning to make the trip down to make sure I'm settled in and in dad's words "hope you haven't become a recluse." But while they're down here Gage wants to touch upon some of the things said the night of the pathos incident.

I'm not nervous about it being true by any means...he'll it would probably make my life easier if I no longer had to keep such a huge secret from my mom. No i'm nervous because the last time i talked to my Dad, Deacon and i were on the verge of breaking up and Dad didn't particularly like him because of it. My Dad was actually the main reason I came back from Austin and broke things off with Deacon, he assured me my Mate wouldn't ever put me through something like that.

And with everything that had happened since my first phase I never actually got around to tell him that Deacon not only got back together, but that Deacon is in fact my mate.

"My parents would love you." Deacon said admiringly.

"Would they, even after i broke up with you and you went into pissed off zombie mode?" I asked harshly.

"Yes, Gage and Maddy love you still don't they?" He asked trying to reassure me.

"Yes but they knew me before and the knew the situation. When i told my Dad he didn't care if you were my Mate or not He only knew you were the first guy to hurt his daughter." I sounded, "how do you think you'd act if we have a daughter one day and a guy makes her cry?"

A low growl built up in his chest and I knew that was the only answer I would get from him. I gave his cheek a loving peck and we continued with our lunch.

I was sitting in my last class of the day and thank God Tiff is in there with me.

"I swear if this clock doesn't hurry the hell up i'm gonna throw a book at it." Tiff groaned.

I usually like Literature, all our assignment today was to write a 2 page entry in our journals on whatever subject we'd like. Only problem was that i only had two things on my mind. My Dad excepting Deaconq as my Mate & My Mom really being a werewolf.

I set off on my writing assignment only I never actually got it done as I began daydreaming about having children with Deacon...more specifically s beautiful little girl with dark features just like him, she'd be a beauty and everyone would love her.

The bell rang loudly and pulled me from my writing.

"Class for those of you who did not finish today, take it home, this is your weekend Homework." The teacher spoke loudly, trying to catch the attention of the kids making their way out of the classroom.

Tiff and I walked out of the classroom and were greeted by Deacon and Logan, standing there waiting on us. Deacon kissed me and grabbed my hand.

He could tell i was still worried and even more grumpy because of it, I felt so bad I knew I shouldn't take it out on him. Deacon squeezed my hand and looked down at me. "It's fine My Beauty, i know this is tough, we'll get through it, alright?"
