I woke up, at 6:30 in the morning, so I could get dressed and ready. Once I was dressed, I walked downstairs and headed for the door. Luckily, no one was up yet. There were a few people that looked like they were passed out around the living room, but no one was awake yet.

I left the house, and started walking to my last day of school. I told my friends I would come back once after I got kicked out to say goodbye. I walked through the doors to the school, instantly not wanting to be there.

"Hey." I said, as I walked up to my friend, Sarah.

"Ari!" Sarah screamed excitedly. "you're back!"

"Yeah."

"So they didn't kick you out?"

"Yeah, they did. I'm only here for today, to say goodbye."

"Oh, I was kind of hoping for a happy ending."

"Me too, but it's not the end."

"Yeah, I guess."

"What happened exactly?" My other friend Nataly asked.

"Well, I came out. They didn't know what it was, so I had to explain it to them. Then they got mad, and they kicked me out." By this point, I had tears dripping out of my eyes. "And my dad, he told my mom that they don't have a daughter anymore, and by then I just walked out."

"Oh my gosh." Sarah said.

"Yeah."

"Where are you staying now?" Nataly asked.

"With my friend."

"Who? Do we know her?"

"No, her name's Jupiter."

"Oh."

"She came and found me and took me to this place, where a lot of people stay."

"Oh, ok."

We talked for a while, until school was over, then I said goodbye again and I left hoping I would see them around. I walked to what I guess was my new home. I walked in, and went up to Jupiter and mine's room. I opened the door, and saw Jupiter and River on the bed.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!" I said, when I walked in on them. And I ran back out.

"Ari!" Jupiter yelled, as she became decent and followed me.

"I didn't mean to interrupt." I said, when she caught up to me.

"It's ok." Jupiter said.

"You can go back to River, I'll go sit on the couch."

"No, it's fine. We were just messing around."

"Just go, I'll be ok. I'll wait for Leo and talk to him." I insisted.

"Ok." She agreed, and walked back upstairs.

I sat on the couch, alone in the living room. I had never seen it that empty, but I guess during the week people go to work or school.

Not long after I was sitting there, people started coming in, including Kat who sat next to me.

"Hi." She said.

"Hey." I answered.

"Whatcha doing?"

"Waiting. Jupiter and River are kind of busy in our room." I replied.

"Oh." Kat said.

"Yeah."

"You know, I actually had a little crush on Jupiter a while back."

"Really? Are you..." I started, but she finished.

"I'm a lesbian." she answered.

"Oh, I wasn't sure if you were pan, or bi."

"Nope, lesbian."

"Look who made up." A stupid guy said, to Kat and me.

"Yeah, we're friends now." Kat told them.

"I'm sure you'll be more than friends, knowing you Kat." The guy said.

"Listen, I was drunk that night, otherwise I never would have done that to her."

"Right, she's asexual." He said.

"Right, she is." I said, with some sass.

"Well, you two could still date.

"Newsflash, I'm aromantic too."

"Well you're just no fun." He said.

"She is plenty of fun." Kat said to him.

"Wouldn't you have more fun with someone else?"

"There's different ways to have 'fun'." Kat said.

"Fine, get all soft and protective with the new girl." He said, then walked away.

"Thanks." I told Kat.

"It's nothing." She said, not knowing that it was everything.

"That meant a lot to me, most people say I'm boring because I don't want to sleep with them. Like you don't have to get in a girls pants to have a good time."

"Yeah, apparently all you have to do is get drunk and try to get in their pants." Kat referred to the other night.

"Ha ha." I said sarcastically. "But seriously, thanks."

"No problem." Kat finished, as Leo walked in.

"Hey,what's going on?" He asked.

"Nothing much." I replied.

"How was your guy's day?"

"Fine." I answered.

"Good." Kat said after me.

"Where's Jupiter? Aren't you guys always hanging out?"

"Her and River are upstairs." I said.

"That's why we're down here, they're in our room."

"Oh. Did they say when they would be done?"

"No, it's just really awkward, knowing that they're upstairs, and they're.." I stopped, hoping he would get it.

"Well then, let's go out." Leo suggested.

"Ok." Kat agreed.

"Alright, let's go out." I also agreed.
