We walked out the front door of the house, while Jupiter and River were upstairs. We all got to the end of the walkway, when one question hit all of us.
"So? Where are we going to go?" Leo asked.
"That's a good question." I answered.
"We can walk around, maybe get some ice cream or something." Kat suggested.
"I don't have money for ice cream. Some of us were just kicked out, and don't have a job yet." I said.
"Sorry, but there's not much to do without money."
"Yeah, I'll be fine if you guys want to go back. It's not like she's in your room." I said.
"No, we can all just walk around together."
"Ok." I said, as we kept walking.
"So what do you like to do?" Leo asked.
"I don't know, at home I didn't do much."
"Oh, well we can just walk around until we find something to do." Kat suggested.
"That seems fine-" I was cut off by someone bumping into my side.
"Sorry." I heard a slight mumble, and I could tell she was crying.
"You ok?" I asked her as I turned around to see her.
"Yeah." She paused. "did you even believe that?" She asked.
"I would've if you weren't crying." I answered.
"I'll be ok, eventually."
"Do you want to talk about it?" I offered.
"I don't even know you."
"My name's Ari."
"My name's Lara."
"Now we know each other, so do you want to talk?"
"Why not." She sighed.
"So what's wrong?"
"My parents kicked me out."
"Mine too."
"Really?"
"Yeah, why did they kick you out?"
"I came out of the closet."
"Me too."
"What? Wow. I'm a lesbian."
"Me too, wait, sorry I'm not a lesbian got caught up in the moment. I'm aromantic asexual." I said.
"I however, am a lesbian." Kat cut in.
"I'm bisexual." Leo added.
"Cool, interesting that I ran into you guys."
"Yeah, we stay at my friends place, and she's kind of busy so we took a walk."
"It's nice your friend lets you stay with her."
"Well, it's kind of a big group of people. It's for people who don't really have anywhere else to go."
"Oh." She said, followed by an awkward pause.
"Do you have anywhere to go?" I asked.
"No." She said, shaking her head as a few tears fell from her eyes.
"Well, you can come back with us." I offered.
"Really?" She asked, her face brightening.
"Yeah." She followed us back to the house, and we were sure Jupiter and River would be done, by then so she could meet them.
We stood downstairs, looking for Jupiter. After scanning the whole room, we decided she wasn't down there.
"So who's gonna go up and see if they're in her room?" Leo asked.
"I walked in on them once, so not me." I said.
"Well I don't want to." Kat added.
Somehow, I found myself roped into going up, and I started walking up the stairs. I stood in front of the door, and paused. I knocked on the door this time, and heard a somewhat faint voice 'come in.'
I stepped in, and saw Jupiter and River, sitting and talking. I leaned out of the room, and told everyone else it was safe to come up.
"So, guess who we found?" I asked Jupiter.
"Who?"
"A new person, her name is Lara." I introduced as she walked in the room.
"Hi." She said simply.
"Hey, I'm Jupiter."
"And I'm River."
"Jupiter found me, just like I found you. She brought me here, and now I'm not on the streets anymore." I explained.
"Interesting."
"Yeah, I didn't start this, but I've been here a while." Jupiter told Lara.
"It's a good idea, giving us a place to stay."
"Yeah, it's pretty helpful."
"It is." I added.
"It's good meeting you, but we should probably get going." Jupiter said.
"You too, and River also." Lara replied.
"Bye." River said to her."
"Bye, nice meeting you." Lara said, on their way out.
"They seem nice." Lara said once they were gone."
"They are. Well, I don't know River that well but Jupiter is great." I said.
"Good, I could use some good friends."
"Don't we all?"
"Yeah."
"Well, I'll probably be going to sleep then." I paused, and looked at the bed where River and Jupiter were. "Just not in the bed."
"You can sleep with me." Kat suggested.
"Oh." I said, still a little weary of her. "sure." I said, a little unsure.
"Great, come on!" She said excitedly as she took my down the hall.
"Goodnight guys." I said to Leo and Lara.
We got to Kat's room, and the two of us sat on her bed.
"Goodnight." I said, as I laid down.
"Night." She said back, and then, within minutes it was all black and I waited for the next day.
