I woke up, after managing to fall asleep. I wasn't happy to wake up underneath Kat. I started moving, to get out from underneath her, and she started waking up. Just then, Jace walked in.
"You have no idea how bad my head- what am I looking at?" He stated, as he walked in the door.
"Nothing, it's not what it looks like." I said, as I pushed Kat off of me.
"Umm."
"What?" I asked, as I realized I was only wearing a bra, and my jeans were undone. I grabbed a pillow, and covered up with it.
"Better. So what is going on?"
"Umm, so last night I came home, and Kat was drunk. she tried to, umm, but we didn't-"
"Ok, I got it." Jace said, as he walked over to his bed, and laid down his jacket.
"Wait, are you just getting home?" I asked.
"Umm, yeah."
"Wow, did you pass out there?"
"No."
"Well you did drink a lot."
"Unlike you, I did get some action last night."
"Oh."
"Yeah, but after, I guess I did kind of pass out."
"Oh." I said, as I buttoned my jeans, and Kat woke up.
"What happened last night?" She asked, as she sat up. "Ari? Why aren't you wearing a shirt?"
"Umm, you should know." I said, grabbing my shirt.
"What?"
"You're the one who took it off me last night."
"I did?"
"Girl? How much did you drink?" Jace asked Kat.
"I don't know, a lot."
"Wow, even I didn't drink so much that I forgot last night."
"And you drank a lot." I joked.
"At least I took more than one sip." Jace joked back.
"Wait did we-" Kat started before I interrupted.
"No... no. You passed out before you could even finish taking off my pants."
"Oh, umm, that should be good for you."
"Oh, believe me it is."
"Well, I like to think I'm a little fun."
"For someone who actually wants it, I'm sure."
"I'm sorry, again."
"Yeah, well this time was worse than the first time."
"Really?"
"Well, I ended up without half of my clothes, so yeah."
"Well, I got you close."
"No, it was never going to happen. I can assure you of that." I said, seriously.
"Ok, fine." She said, sounding upset.
"Jace, can I talk to her for a minute?" I asked.
"Sure." He replied, as he stood up and started walking out.
"Wait, stay close, ok?" I asked.
"Ok."
"Kat, last night you told me that you... that you really liked me."
"I did?"
"Yeah, did you mean it? Do you actually like me?"
"I might, a little."
"It seemed like a lot more than a little last night."
"I'm sorry."
"You don't have to apologize for how you feel, I just... I just want to know how you feel."
"Ok, I might like you, but I don't think I really like you."
"What?"
"When I'm not drunk, I like other people, I go out with people, but once I get drunk, I always come back to you."
"Oh." I said, as I started thinking about last night. I thought about every detail that wasn't fuzzy. I remembered most of it, but I was having a panic attack, so it all kind of blurred.
The more and more I thought about it, I became nauseous. I thought about her on top of me, and the knots in my stomach, and before I knew it, I was in a flashback of it.
"Ari? Are you ok?" I hear Kat ask, which brings me back to reality.
"I'm fi- I'm gonna puke." I said, as I ran to the bathroom.
"I'm the one that was drunk, shouldn't I be throwing up?" Kat joked, as she joined me.
"Not in the mood." I said.
"Ok."
"I don't think I'm going to do much today." I said, as I stood up, and flushed the toilet and walked out.
"What are you going to do?"
"I think I'm going to sleep." I said, as I laid in bed.
"But you just woke up."
"Goodnight Kat."
"Night." She said, and with that, I slowly drifted off to sleep.
