It had been about two months since the TV crew had came, and it really helped get word out. We got a lot more people coming in to live, and even more coming to the meetings. I was busy, working, doing meetings, and keeping the whole thing running, but we were really making a difference.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Jace asked, as he walked up to me.
"Just doing some work." I said, as I moved some papers around on the desk.
"You're always doing some work." Jace joked.
"Not always, and we are helping a lot of people."
"Yeah, we are." Jace agreed, when a girl walked up to the desk.
"Hey." I said as she walked up.
"Hi." She said softly.
"How can I help you?" I asked.
"I'd like to move in, I guess."
"Ok, let me get a form for you."
"Hey guys, I was wondering if you-" Jupiter walked in, but stopped talking and stared at the girl in front of the desk. "Juni?" She asked.
"Hey Jupiter." The girl answered.
"You know her?" I asked, but Jupiter didn't pay attention to me.
"Hey sis." Jupiter said, as she walked up to her and hugged her. "Haven't seen you in a while."
"Yeah, I missed you."
"What happened?" Jupiter asked.
"Well, it happened sooner than expected, but I came out."
"Why?"
"Well, mom and dad were talking about you, and I stood up for you. Then they yelled at me, and said I would only stand up for you if I was like you."
"Ok."
"And then I said I was."
"Oh, I'm glad you stood up for me, but you didn't have to do that."
"I was going to at some point anyway."
"So, there's something I've been wondering since I left."
"Yeah?"
"Well, what exactly are you?"
"I'm pansexual, and genderflux."
"Wow, awesome. I missed you so much."
"I missed you to, I know mom does too."
"No she doesn't."
"She doesn't approve of you- us, but she does miss you around, I can tell."
"Oh, what were they talking about when you came out?"
"They were actually talking about this place, they don't approve by the way."
"I couldn't care less what they approve of."
"Yeah, I had seen the commercial for this place, and figured I'd go here she it was time."
"I'm glad you did."
"Yeah, I don't think I could stand mom and dad any longer anyways."
"Why?"
"Well, mom's pregnant."
"Oh, I see they've been having fun without me."
"Yeah, well dad's kind of mad about it."
"Really?"
"Yeah, he doesn't want any more kids."
"I see, well, he already has three, or one I guess, cause you and I don't count any more."
"Yeah, I guess."
"I hate to interrupt, but could you please explain what's going on?" I asked.
"This is my sister." Jupiter said.
"Ok, kind of got that, but why didn't you tell us you had a sister?"
"I don't know, I was leaving everything behind."
"Ok, so you have a sister."
"Yeah, this is Juniper."
"Juniper?"
"Yeah."
"Why?"
"Ok, I was supposed to be a twin, and we were going to be named Jupiter and Juniper. but shortly after we were born, she died. When she was born two years later, my dad named her Juniper."
"Ok."
"All of this aside, I came in here to ask you guys something."
"What?"
"I was wondering, if since it's been a year since we all came out, we could go out."
"Wow, sure."
"And you can come to, Juniper, we can celebrate you coming out too." Jupiter offered to Juniper.
"Great." Juniper answered.
"Ok, let's go." I suggested.
"Ok." Jupiter said, and we got everyone together, and went out.
