A/N: warning there's a tiny bit of language, but not much. There will also be another note at the end.
I was working on sponsors for a while, until I was pretty tired. I looked at the clock, and saw it was almost 2:30 in the morning. I closed the laptop I was using, and laid my head down. I didn't get to sleep, I was barely in a daze when Jace burst through the door with a guy.
The two of them were making out, and they sat down on his bed. I don't think they saw me, so I tried to get their attention. It didn't work, so I decided to get up and walk out. I walked downstairs, and sat on the couch. After a little while, I laid down and fell asleep.

The next morning, I woke up on the couch and sat up. I looked at the clock and it was about 9:00. I sat on the couch for a few minutes, until I heard someone coming down the stairs. I turned around to see Jace leading someone down the stairs, the same guy from the night before. They walked to the door, and the guy kissed Jace and then left. Jace walked back by the couch I was sitting on.
"Have fun?" I asked him.
"What?" He asked, finally noticing I was there. "What are you doing down here?"
"Did you think I was going to stay up there?"
"Right, sorry."
"It's ok."
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing."
"If you're mad that I brought him over, he didn't mean anything, I just went to a gay bar and met him." He said, as he sat down next to me.
"No, I don't have any reason to be mad, I just don't get it."
"Don't get what? That I brought him here?"
"No, I don't get why you and Jupiter, and Kat and everyone just sleep with people, I don't get sex at all."
"Sorry."
"I didn't mean I was sad, just confused."
"I don't know how to explain it to you, sorry."
"I didn't expect you to, I just always feel so awkward and out of place with everything."
"That's just who you are, and it's cute. You're the socially awkward asexual."
"Wow, I just wish I wasn't completely surrounded by it."
"Sorry."
"You don't have to apologize, it's not your fault."
"That one is, I'm partially surrounding you with it."
"You brought him over, and I'm not blaming you, I'm sure it's normal for you, but I live in a different world than you."
"Him, as in Brian?"
"You know his name? Sounds special." I joked.
"Whatever."
"I'm just kidding. Now, you should go out with me today to talk to possible sponsors."
"Really? You do know that I was totally drunk last night, right?"
"Whatever, please?"
"You really want someone that's a little hungover to go with you?"
"No, but I want you to go with me."
"Ok, fine. When do you want to go?"
"You want to go soon? The sooner we start, the better."
"Give me an hour or two. I need a shower, and I need try to get rid of this headache."
"Yeah you do, you smell like a bar."
"Really? I bet it has nothing to do with the fact that I was at a bar last night."
"Whatever, just go." I said, as he got up and walked upstairs. I sat on the couch for a while, until Kat came down.
"Hey." She said as she sat down.
"Hi."
"So Jace?"
"She told you?" I asked, raising my voice a little.
"Don't be mad, but yes."
"Whatever, I don't care. He knows."
"She figured you told him, you two were talking for a while yesterday."
"We talked, but it wasn't that long. He left and went to a bar."
"Oh, that's kind of shitty."
"What?"
"Well, you told him that you liked him and he went to a bar, and probably was with someone."
"He was definitely with someone, but I don't like him necessarily, I have a squish on him."
"You love him." She joked.
"Platonically, yeah."
"Ok. So he was with someone?"
"Yeah, he brought him here last night and-" I stopped myself.
"I get it."
"He's upstairs now, getting a shower and then we'll go look for people to donate money to the LGBT center."
"Oh, it'll be cool if that happens."
"Yeah, I want people to feel like they have somewhere to go, and that someone cares about them. I don't want anyone to feel alone, because they're not. Not really, they just need to find the one who cares."
"Why do you care so much?"
"I know what it feels like to be alone, I don't want anyone to feel like that."
"Well, if you were alone; you're not now."
"Thanks."
"Ready to go?" Jace asked as he walked downstairs.
"Yep." I said standing up, and we walked out, ready to go start this project.
