I watch y/n I'm not sure if she is asleep yet, I'm waiting to see her breathing steady out. I want to look at her arms, I saw spirals on her hand earlier. I have them too even the messed up line, could she be the person Mephisto told me about? I quietly stand up and walk to the edge of her bed, I peel back the covers off her face. She does not move, a sign that she is asleep. She's laying on her side, that means I can only look at one of her arms unless I could move her. I poke her cheek, she makes a whining noise and tries nuzzling her face into the bed, it's kind of amusing really. I pick her arm up, I try to roll her sleeve up. It is rather hard to do while holding her arm in the air at the same time, I pull it up past her wrist. I see the beginning of a drawing, I should have taken my things off to compare them. Just as I'm about to pull her sleeve up farther she wakes up, she lets out a shrill squeak and throws my arm away fixing her hoodie in the process.
"What do you think you're doing!" She half shouts half whispers.
I do not answer, I think what I was doing was obvious enough. How am I going to see what the drawings are now, I want to see if they match mine like her hand.
"Leave! Now!" She gets up and tries to shove me to the door.
"I'm not going to leave," I wiggle out of her grip and move back the the bed.
"I will call your brother to come get you then!" She growls.
"Hmm I did tell him you agreed to this...." I frown trying to think how I can convince her to let me stay. "I'll be good if you let me stay. I will not steal your food anymore tonight...."
"Out!"
"Y/n!" I try whining that could work though I prefer not too attempt it too often. "I won't break anything."
She groans, "what were you doing!"
I lay back on her bed as she stands beside it glaring at me, "nothing."
"If you don't tell me the truth I'm never letting you in here again."
I contemplate that, if my prediction is true she is my mate.... it would be a problem to not be allowed in her room. "Y/n I want to see your arm."
"What?" She looks startled, I think my bold question took her off guard. She crosses her arms and suddenly seems to shrink in place.
"I want to see them, you draw on yourself I saw your hand earlier, you are not good at hiding it."
"I can't show you...." her face turns pink, I try not to smile but it's kind of interesting to watch her emotions change so fast.
"Hmm what if I show you my arms?" I tilt my head, now I may be able to see perhaps she will be surprised too.
"Um why would I want to do that?"
"It would be fair would it not? Then you could see if I draw on myself or what my mate does."
"You're not going to give up are you....."
"No I'm not."
"Fine, just don't laugh okay...." she pulls her hoodie off slowly. She drops it on the bed, I let my gaze travel across her bare arms revealing multiple sketches. "Your turn then, go on," she mumbles her face beat red.
I shrug, "I do not think you're going to be pleased."
She stares at me questioningly, yet she doesn't speak. I throw my coat on the bed and remove my arm warmers, I look at her to see a reaction. She looks as if she has just saw a ghost, her eyes are wide plus she's pale.
"Y-you....but...." She sinks onto the beds edge, she stares at the floor like it's a very entertaining anime.
"I told you that you would not like it," I grumble not sure if she's going to make me leave now.
"It's not that really, I mean maybe. I don't know!" She covers her face with her arms.
"Do I have to leave now?" I sigh.
"I think.." she pauses then sighs, "No, you don't."
"Hmm alright," I sit up looking at her.
"I think I need to go back to sleep..." she crawls to the corner of her bed.
"Y/n?" I frown.
"What..?"
"Does this upset you?"
"I...I don't know."
"Do you hate me now?"
"No I don't hate you," she sighs.
"I'm going to tell my brother I found you."
"Why would you do that!" She shrieks again suddenly seeming less tired.
I avoid her piercing stare by looking over her head, "because I was looking for you."
"Why were you looking for me?" She mutters then she must realize what I mean because her face twists to surprise. "You were looking for your soulmate?"
"For a little bit yes, but I got bored."
"Then why did you start being my stalker?"
I shrug, "you were interesting."
She leans back against the wall staring at me, "D...do my drawings bother you?" She mumbled quietly.
I frown thinking about it for a moment, "No, I like to watch them show up."
"Really?"
"Yes, sometimes I don't notice them though because of my outfit."
"Oh," she frowns, "Can I ask you why you never tried writing to me? If you wanted to find me that would've been easier wouldn't it?"
I frown, I haven't really ever thought about writing something for her. I suppose I grew accustomed to just watching things appear on me, the idea never occurred I could write for her, I'm not sure I would anyway. "I just did not think about it, I had no purpose too. I only started looking for you because I was bored and brother said I should."
She simply nods, "I'm going back to sleep..."
"Fine," I sigh.
"That means you're getting off my bed, shoo," she almost teasingly pushes me from her bed.
I move to the other bed sitting on it, I watch her get under the blankets. She looks at me,
"If um you need another blanket you can take one of mine."
"Couldn't I just come over with you?" I tilt my head, that would make more sense if I just take her things she'll be cold.
"No," She mumbles a pinkish tint forming on her cheeks again.
"Fine," I lay so my head is dangling from the bed, almost upside down.
"Goodnight."
I watch as she falls asleep, her breathing steadies. I myself am not tired, I don't need much sleep usually. I jump from the bed and make my way to her bag, I saw she had food shoved inside it. I find junk food, I take her bag of candy and a bag of chips. I pick up her phone too, it's a smart phone there's probably games on it.
I make myself comfy on the bed, I pull the blanket over myself and rip open my snacks. I wonder if y/n will mind, probably not she gave me some earlier. I can not help but glance at her, she looks so innocent and fragile when she's asleep. I do not quite understand why my brother was so insistent that I find my soulmate, I wonder what he'll do now that I have, especially since it's her....
