      "I'm no good without you."

                             ...

"Wake up beautiful." I heard Gerard whisper to me. I fluttered my eyes open to see Gerard sitting on the edge of the bed by me. He was already in casual clothing which was odd, then it hit me, when did we get home?

"When did we get home?" I asked sitting up in the bed.

"Well after you fell asleep I drove us home and put you to bed." He said and smiled softly.

"Explains why I'm still in my clothes from yesterday." I giggled and looked down to see my top from yesterday.

"Oh stop complaining, get up, get ready, and meet me outside." He chuckled and walked out the room, I assume to go outside.

"Blah, blah." I mocked while getting out of bed. I slowly but surely finished brushing my teeth and brushed my hair. I slipped on black leggings, a black green day shirt, tied a red flannel wrapped around my waist, put  on black converses, and a black velvet choker. I applied eyeliner, light red matte lipstick, and lastly I put a black beanie on my head. It only took me 15 minutes to get ready, a new record. I slammed the bathroom door behind me and rushed into the living room. "Hey guys, bye guys!" I exclaimed running outside.

"There you are princess! C'mon we have stuff to do, no time wasting." He said and pulled me into the car.

"What is so important you made me get up?" I asked putting my seat belt on.

"We are going Halloween shopping!" He said enthusiastically.

"Ugh shopping! I hate shopping!" I exclaimed sighing loudly being a negative nancy like always.

"Shush no complaining!" Gerard demanded playfully while driving out of the driveway

"We're going trick-or-treating I hope you know that." I said while looking through the dozens of colorful and non-colorful Halloween costumes.

"Okay, I'll be a vampire for halloween." He replied, taking a cliché vampire costume from the rack.

"You are not." I giggled and rolled my eyes while examining more of the clothing.

"Yes I am and you're being this." He smirked pulling out a 'sexy' vampire costume and throwing it at me.

"Gerard!" I exclaimed catching the plastic pack and hooking it on the wrong rack. I then pulled out a nineteen-thirties flapper girl costume. It was a plain black flapper dress, black feather headband, and black tights.

"I wanna be this!" I exclaimed excitedly while staring at the dress

Gerard looked at it and looked sad. "No, pick something else."

"Why?" I asked quite curious of his devastating response.

"Just don't please." He pleaded and took his attention off of me.

"Oh fine." I stuck my tongue out as I looked through the racks one last time. When I found a witch costume. It was a short purple dress with black and purple stockings and a folded witch hat. "I like this one." I smiled.

"And I like this one." He grinned back, showing off the vampire outfit.

"You're not buying that." I said and placed the plastic pack under my arm.

"Sure tell yourself that." He chuckled and gripped onto the pack.

"Gerard." I warned.

"Violet." Gerard mocked just to tease me.

"Gerard Arthur Way." I said staring into his eyes.

"Violet I don't know your middle name Jane." He replied back and stared into my eyes as well.

"Crystal." I informed and stopped staring at him.

"What?" He asked confused of why I said 'Crystal' out of nowhere.

"My middle name is Crystal." I said looking at the Halloween lights.

I heard nothing so I looked back and saw Gerard on one knee with a black rose in one hand. "Violet Crystal Jane will you please be my princess forever?" He asked

"Of course you idiot." I giggled and he hugged me.

We walked into the house and Gerard grabbed his vampire costume. "Guys guess what I'm being for Halloween!" Gerard exclaimed.

"What?" They all said at almost the same time.

"A vampire!" He giggled and proudly showed off the costume. They all busted into laughing.

"I thought I told you to control him?" Mikey asked, looking back at me.

"I can't control that idiot." I shut the door behind me and entered the home where I relaxed for the rest of the night.
