Nine Days Later!
It was September tenth which was Mikey's birthday! Luckily for us he didn't die on his birthday unlike his brother so he wasn't upset all day, actually quite the opposite. I woke up extra early to cook breakfast for everyone which was more difficult without Frank or Ray to help. As soon as I placed two frozen waffles in the toaster I heard footsteps softly step on the hardwood floors. Turning around I saw no one, I turned back to the toaster to grab the plates that sat by the machine. I hummed along to a tune in my head when I felt someone's presence lingering around me. Once again I looked behind me to now see Frank.

"Holy shit!" I whisper-shouted due to the fact his immediate presence frightened me.

"You alright?" He asked with a slight chuckle as he sat at the breakfast bar.

"No! You scared me." I replied and jumped slightly at the semi-loud noise of the toaster.

"Everything is scaring you I see." He smiled slightly as I placed the two waffles on a plate that was sided with red grapes and a cup of vanilla yogurt.

"Sounds about right." I admitted and continued the cycle of warming waffles. "So what's up? Why are you up so early as well?" I questioned since it was six o'clock and his favorite wake time was eleven or twelve.

"Couldn't sleep, kept having nightmares." He shrugged and looked over at the window.

"Want to talk about it?" As much as I probably was not the best comforter or therapist type figure I wanted to try to make people feel a bit better.

Before he could reply Gerard walked into the living room/kitchen area. "Maybe another time." He sighed and traced the countertops with his index finger.

"Sorry." I whispered and Gee walked into the kitchen. "Morning babe." I smiled and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek.

"Morning." He grinned and took a seat by Frank. "I see how it is. Making breakfast for Mikey's birthday but not mine."

"Hey! That's because I didn't know it was your birthday because you didn't tell me!" I defended with a fake offended expression on my face.

After breakfast Mikey immediately had a place he wanted and needed to be at. "So...Pete and Patrick are throwing a birthday party for me. And of course you all are invited." Mikey smiled happily.

"None of the "people" are invited correct?" I asked in reference to Bonnie, Andy, Bob, and Zach, since many of the people in town knew them.

"Nope! I made sure they weren't invited." He replied seeming very proud of himself which was adorable.

"Good," I grinned and felt at ease for once in weeks. "Piper can join us right?" I questioned looking over at my pumpkin who was still chewing on a grape.

"Of course, it's not like an alcoholic party or anything." He laughed.

"You never know." I chuckled and grabbed my plate, taking it into the kitchen.

"She's so adorable." Patrick gushed as Piper sat in my lap playing with my vervain necklace.

"Piper say thank you." I told the little girl since she didn't fully understand manners or words in general yet.

"Thank you." She blushed saying 'tank' instead of 'thank'.

So Patrick, Piper, and I sat on the couch while everyone else talked in clusters around the house. See originally no drinking was gonna take place, Hell barely anyone was supposed to show up. But Pete had a lot more friends than I imagined he would. Anywho, in case you were wondering the drinking was not that bad but I still didn't want Piper to be around it too much. Luckily Patrick decided to stay sober for the night and keep me company.
