The smell of coffee and the constant mumbled talking from the living room woke me from my slumber. "Can't you people be quiet?" I questioned in a whisper. I slipped on my robe, like always, and walked out of my bedroom to be greeted by everyone drinking coffee while watching cartoons.
"Good morning princess." I heard Gerard say sortly after I closed the bedroom door behind me.
"Morning babe." I replied and quickly yawned still tired after my nine hours of sleep. As everyone stared at the TV watching as Tom tried to kill Jerry I poured some coffee from the coffee pot into my pale blue cup. I added the usual sugar and creamer then resorted back to the living room, in which I sat by Piper who was sitting by Gerard. Once I got settled in my phone started ringing from the closed up bedroom.
"Dammit." I sighed and started to stand up but Piper jumped up in a second and proudly exclaimed, "Got it!" She ran back with my phone which I then answered the unknown number.
"Hello?" I questioned and took a short sip of my room temperature coffee.
"Hello, may I speak with Miss Jane?" A woman asked over the phone in a cheery voice.
"You're speaking to her." I replied in a raspy tone since I was fighting to stay awake.
"This is Miss Martinez from Starbucks, you have an interview scheduled for tomorrow at one o'clock. I'm just calling to see if this time and day is still alright?" She asked and I suddenly remembered about my interview the next day.
"Oh, uh. Yes! Of course." I replied and immediately cringed at my awkward reply.
"Great! See you tomorrow!" She exclaimed and the line went dead meaning she hung up.
"Who was it?" Gerard asked while taking a sip of his coffee.
"A lady from the coffee shop I applied for. They finally accepted my resume so now I go in for an interview tomorrow and I can work." I replied and smiled softly at the thought of more income since my family's rainy day money is running out along with Jacob's income.
"Thank God, we're basically on the verge of loosing the hou-" Jacob started but I cut him off.
"It's okay now, don't worry." I reassured him. "I'll start work next week at most and we won't be living in cardboard boxes."
"What if I want to live in a cardboard box?" Frank asked.
"Go ahead, I'm not stopping you." I chuckled and took a sip out of my coffee cup.

"Bored!" Piper exclaimed as she watched TV. Everyone was still watching TV after those few hours, except now we were all wearing casual clothes.
"You're bored pumpkin?" I asked the girl, she nodded her head. I looked at Gerard who was now looking at Piper with a small grin. "What do you want to do?"
"Park!" She smiled and I chuckled.
"Wanna go to the park." I asked Gerard.
"Sure, let me go get Piper's shoes." He replied and got off the couch, walking into our bedroom.
"Where are you guy's going?" Ray asked and the other's averted their attention to me.
"To the park. You people want to go?" I questioned as Gerard came back and helped Piper put her shoes on. They all agreed they wanted to go so we piled into the car. About ten minutes later we arrived at the park.
"Park!" Piper shouted as she tried to unbuckle herself out of the seat.
"Pumpkin calm down." I giggled and unbuckled her out of the carseat. Before I could even set Piper down on the ground I noticed all of the guy's playing on the play equipment. Luckily it was Friday afternoon so no children were there. "You people are actual children." I said as Piper held my hand, walking towards the park with me.
"Try it some time, it's fun!" Gerard exclaimed from the top of a metal play set.
"Yeah 'Miss So Mature'!" Frank shouted while swinging on the swing set.
I rolled my eyes and looked down at Piper who looked like she wanted to go play. "What do you want to do pumpkin?"
"Swing!" She exclaimed and jumped up and down.
"Okay, okay." I laughed and picked her up, taking her to the swing set and setting her into the toddler swing.
"Push!" She demanded with the sweetest smile. I obliged and started to lightly push the swing. I focused on Piper while hearing my family erupting of laughter. Everything was perfect until I noticed something to be specific, someone, in the corner of my eye. I looked to my right to see Andy. I stopped pushing Piper and stared right into his crystal blue eyes. His lips curved into a smirk and I was ready to go over there and kill his ass.
"Violet are you okay?" I heard Gerard ask and Andy disappeared in seconds.
"Yeah..." I replied, furrowing my eyebrows together and turned around to see Gerard climbing off the play set. "Why?"
"You were frozen while staring into space." He said and walked towards me, held my hands and whispered in my ear. "Are you sure you're okay?"
"Yes babe I'm fine." I chuckled quietly and placed my hands on his chest.
"If you say so princess." He smiled and kissed my lips softly.
"Stop being cutesy and someone push me!" Ray shouted while sitting on the swings.
"Yeah!" Piper shouted as well. I giggled and walked over to the swing set beside Gerard.
