I awoke to chattering from outside of my hotel room. I stirred awake and grabbed my phone, I unlocked it to see thirty messages from Gerard along with five missed calls from him. Ten messages from Mikey and two missed calls. Fifty messages from Frank and ten missed calls...jesus. Twenty-two messages from Ray along with one missed call. Seventeen messages from Jacob and three missed calls. And lastly six messages from Hanna and two missed calls. They summoned everyone to text me didn't they?
I just ignored it and thought about what I want to do today. Part of me wanted to watch sad love movies and sleep but the other half wanted to have fun and me-time. I decided on going to swim in the swimming pool then tonight I'll talk to Gerard.
I brushed my teeth and hair, slipped on my black swimsuit and put my hair in a ponytail. I applied waterproof red lipstick and waterproof winged eyeliner on my eyelid. I looked at myself and was quite satisfied with the new makeup choice I went with.
I grabbed one of the hotel's towels, because I didn't bring one of my own, and walked downstairs to the pool. As I laid down on one of the laid-back chairs my phone started to ring. I looked at the caller id to see it was Frank. I hesitantly answered it with a "Hello.".
"Where are you?" He asked sounding a bit upset
"Now why should I tell you?"
"Violet I'm not playing games where are you?"
"Are you my dad or something now? I'm at a hotel that's all I'm saying."
"Gerard's already apologized why don't you come home we're all worried."
"You have nothing to be worried about I'll be home tomorrow...maybe."
"Violet just come home."
"No."
"Fine, Gerard won't be pleased with this."
"I don't care, now if you excuse me I'm going to relax, bye." I replied and ended the call
I put my phone by me and put on my sunglasses. I relaxed for about ten minutes until I started to get hot and got into the water. I swam around for about thirty minutes, nothing special. I then laid back down for another thirty minutes that was until I heard Frank talk...wait.
"Fine if you won't come home I'll make you come home." Frank said as I stood up
"What the hell!? Why are you here!?" I shouted and looked around for other people to find no one
"You wouldn't come home so I'm bringing you home."
"I get you want to be some hero but Frank I would like to be left alone for some time." I replied taking off my sunglasses
"Too bad you're coming home." He demanded and grabbed my wrist
"Let go of me." I hissed
I grabbed my towel and wrapped it around me as I felt Frank grab ahold of my wrist once again.
"Go to your room get your stuff and meet me in the car."
"You're funny, no." I replied and yanked my wrist, walking back inside the hotel
"That wasn't a question."
"Sure sounded like it." I said and entered the elevator
I tried pressing the close button as many times as I could but Frank slipped in.
"You're not escaping me." He stated with a smirk
"Yeah sure." I replied and exited the elevator but didn't go down the hall, I just stood there
"Why aren't you moving?"
"Because if I move you'll know which room I'm in."
"Room 76."
"Damnit! How do you know!?"
"The lady from the front desk told me."
"Glad I can count on the confidentiality." I sighed
"Now let's get your stuff." He giggled and walked down the hall
"Why do you want me to go home so much?"
"Because I don't want you living here forever, I miss you. Plus Gerard is a train wreck without you."
"Okay one why do you miss me? And two how is he a 'train wreck'?" I asked as I entered my hotel room
"Well I miss you because...is that even a question?"
"...I guess not."
"And Gerard's a train wreck because all he does is stay in your room and cry. If anyone tries to talk to him he tells them to go away."
"All because I left for one night."
"Yep, he can't be away from you especially when he knows your mad."
"He's more sensitive than I thought."
"Well vampires have stronger feelings than humans so yeah I'll say he's a bit sensitive, but to be fair we all are."
"Stronger feelings?" I asked as I packed my suitcase
"Basically we feel things such as anger stronger than humans. When we're angry we get much more angry than humans. It's hard to control our feelings, that's why we snap so much."
"I guess that clears a lot up."
"So you're coming home?"
"I guess...you better be greatful."
"I am now go get some clothes on, not saying I don't like the swimsuit it does look rathe-"
"Frank!"
"Sorry!" He shouted as I grabbed a pair of jeans and a red flannel shirt
I got changed into my clothes and placed my swimsuit in my suitcase.
"Ready to go?" Frank asked
"I guess." I sighed
"Don't worry." He smiled reassuringly
I grabbed my suitcase but Frank took it from me...nice. I gave the lady from the front desk my key and headed towards the car with Frank still terrified for the next events.
