Chapter Four: Learning The Lost

"Where are we going?" I asked as Gerard pulled me along a pathway in the forest.

"Just wait princess." After another five minutes we finally made it to a clear, secluded area in the heart of the forest. Nothing but trees and sunlight surrounded us. The trees leaves covered the top of the forest but let in bits of sunlight.

I then felt memories flood into my mind. Memories of Gerard saving me-on multiple occasions, two men, a girl, Green Day, and...my dad. My dad, one of the men killed my father. His smirk as I saw my father dead, stone cold.

"D-dad." I said as tears dwelled in my eyes.

"What's wrong?" Gerard asked looking into my eyes.

"H-he killed my dad." I said backing up a bit.

"Violet, it's okay. The man who did that is dead, your father is buried by your mother." Gerard said looking down sadly.

"How long has he been gone?"

"A little more than a year."

"Gerard why don't I remember anything? Where was I? What happened to me?"

"You have amnesia, luckily you're gaining your memory better than most people who have this. You were in a coma." He said stopping himself before he could answer the last question.

"Gerard why was I in a coma?" Utter silence fell until I spoke up again in a harsh tone."Gerard."

"You attempted suicide." He said and backed up, running his fingers through his hair.

"How!? Why!? When!?" I asked frantically.

"How, you jumped off a cliff into the ocean. It's a miracle you even lived. Why because...I'll explain it later. When a year ago."

"How long was I in a coma?"

"A year."

"A year!? Why didn't you just let me go?"

"Violet you are worth too damn much to me. Violet look at me now." He demanded. I looked into his eyes and smiled. "I will protect you, forever. This time I swear I will I'll never make the same mistakes." He said holding my hands

"Gera-" I started but was cut off by him kissing me. I felt so many things flow through my mind, so many memories.

I remembered Gerard. I remembered every talk, every kiss, every hug, and hell every fight. I remembered him completely.

"I love you so much babe." I said and hugged him.

"I love you so much more princess." He said and smiled.
