A pain comparable to sharp knives stung my neck. I could feel warm blood run down my throat. My eyes forced themselves open to see Andy's blue eyes staring back into mine. I scanned the room quickly to see I was sitting on the floor of what appeared to be a chamber. His hand traced up to my jaw as I looked around, pushing my face out of the way to look at my neck. While smirking he chuckled, "Oh boy will Gerard be pissed."
Goosebumps formed on my skin in fear of what Andy had done. In my gut I knew what may have just occurred but I could not accept it, "What did you do?" I asked, my voice trembling in fear.
"You've actively worked against our council for far too many years my dear Violet. You've lusted over a vampire whom you convinced to leave this kingdom. As well as your little outcast group killed two vampires, McCracken and I." Andy clicked his tongue twice while shaking his head, "Or well Iero attempted to rid of me."
I furrowed my eyebrows, looking at the man like he was utterly insane, "What? What do you mean?" my idiotic act was a lie. Andy bit me, plain and simple, but I did not want to face the fact I was to become a… bloodsucking creature.
The man laughed before letting my jaw go. He rose to his feet and lingered over me like a dark shadow, "Baby, you've been given immortality. Welcome to the dark side." Tears sprung to my eyes immediately. My worst nightmare had come true. I hung my head and let the tears fall onto the wooden floor below me, "Don't cry baby. We have a lifetime of fun ahead of us." his voice was sarcastic and playful, aware of the pain he was putting through physically and emotionally.
"Take me home." I demanded with an almost inaudible tone. My voice cracked as I felt a lump in my throat from being so upset.
Andy grinned from ear to ear, he walked behind me and I could feel his fingers fiddling with my vervain necklace. In my ear he whispered, "Won't be needing this anymore, will you?" a rhetorical question, both of us knowing that was true. I sighed while tears still gathered in my eyes. Part of me filled with rage but my overbearing sadness took control. The man walked back in front me, crouching down to look me in the eyes once again. His eye bored into mine, "Sleep." since I had not fully turned he still could compel me. It was no surprised he would take advantage of that. Although I tried to fight off the feeling the weight of my eyelids was too much to bear as I let them fall.

It was light when I awoke. I was laying on the couch with the sun glaring into my eyes. Through the morning haze I smiled as I realized it was all a dream, I had just fallen asleep. No pain in my neck, just happiness beating through my heart. That was until I sat up to see Jacob making himself some coffee at the counter. My sudden movement caught his attention making him roll his eyes, "Good morning, thanks for the help last night."
"Jacob I am so sorry!" I exclaimed in disbelief I would just fall asleep when my brother was relying on me to help him, "I must've fell asleep after we called."
My brother chuckled, looking less agitated as I was genuinely sorry, "It's fine but- wait a minute. What's on your neck Violet?" I could feel my stomach twist into knots, hoping that he was not referencing the bite from my 'so-called dream'.
Running practically sideways I looked in the bathroom mirror. I could not believe the reflection that stared back at me, on my neck there was two punctures with dried blood smeared around the wounds. A terrified scream let my mouth as I registered the fact that my dream was a reality, not some make believe nightmare. Jacob dashed to me and was left speechless as he understood what it was too. Without a word he led my shock-ridden body to the living room, back to the couch where I wrapped my shaking hands in my hair.
I could hear the bedroom door opening and footsteps scurry behind me, "What's wrong!?" Gerard's voice seemed frantic but suddenly saddened when his eyes spotted the issue, "Oh Violet, no. You can't, can you?" his questions were all over the place as I read the panic that occurred in the man.
Streams of tears fell down my face as I felt the sadness emitting from myself, Jacob, and Gerard. I was speechless that only thing I could do was repeat, "It wasn't a dream."
Gerard sat by me, wrapping my fragile body in his arms. Jacob watched with a hand over his mouth, in a state of pure shock. Several other doors opened from the others but I listened to Gerard as he whispered calmly, "Who did this princess?"
"Andy." I said barely above a whisper, "I could hear him outside knocking. When I walked out he took me. I woke in some dark dungeon, that's when he bit me. After that he compelled me to sleep… and here we are." I explained trying to hold back any sobs while speaking.
"Fucking Hell." Gerard murmured under his breath. I knew he was blaming himself for my turning in his head. He always thought when I was hurt it was his fault somehow, "How do you feel right now."
I took a deep breath to analyze how I felt besides the extreme sorrow, "My teeth ache and it's getting harder to breathe." I admitted while still keeping my head down.
Gerard sighed and wrapped his arms tighter around me, "Get ready for the most pain you've ever been in." my heart went cold as I thought of the possible outcome of my new… life.
