Little star, twinkling bright,
Shine and shine with all your might.
From far away, you can be seen,
So as to grant the wishes of the keen.
They whisper their wishes to you,
Desperately hoping that they'll come true.
Most believe that those that shine,
Can change the world in the blink of an eye.
Some might try to bring you down,
To dim your light so you can't be found.
Every night, climb again into the sky,
Blinking like a firefly.
Little star, gleaming bead of light,
Stay in the night sky, in full sight.
You can never fade away,
The little star will forever stay.
