Maybe someday.
Maybe when we're both a day older,
Or a month, or a year,
Or at an age when
We've forgotten all of our fear;
Though that might be as impossible
As never again shedding a tear.Maybe you'll dream of
Our worlds colliding once more
Just as they have done
Only one time before—
Because I miss you, so my heart
Into these words, I will pour.I am often unable
To see any of the sky's blue—
Maybe someday the clouds will part
And allow the rays of the sun to break through.
Maybe someday you'll look at me
Just the way that I look at you.
