Lovely Tragedy

One day, the end will come
And to death I will succumb.
One day, we'll fade away—
For all I know, it could be today.
I cannot breath, I cannot speak,
I've reached the mountain peak;
Maybe now there's nothing left anymore,
So here I'll allow the rain to pour.
Just before you depart,
Remember to take back your heart.
I do not know what else to say
Besides that I wish you could stay.
Not even the sky is an everlasting blue—
I think, deep down, we always knew.
Death reaches even the brightest star;
What a lovely tragedy we are.
