She wanted someone to see all that she was
and to love her with all of their heart.
She craved someone who would see past
what she showed most people about herself;
someone who would love her for everything:
for every part of herself that she hated
and for every little quirk that she was made up of.
Oh, how wonderful it could be if someone adored
the fact that she was clumsy on her feet
and that she could make fun of herself.
She was certain, however, that no one else
would ever see her sarcastic sense of humour
or the fact that she could be both very intelligent
and incredibly clueless at the same time.
And how in the world could anyone find
her awkwardness positively adorable?
