There will always be those doleful days.
They're the days when everything hurts a little more. They're the days when the void in our chests will seem a little larger, when our skin appears a little bluer, when our breathing becomes a little shallower and when our thoughts are a little gloomier. Our hearts might be just a little heavier and we may miss the one we used to love more than ever.
All that we can do on these doleful days that we are unable to find a spot of light is to allow our eyes to adjust to the dark until it no longer seems quite so lamentable.
