There are those few people
Whose hearts and souls meet;
Their minds are as beautiful
As their heart's perfect rhythmic beat.
He was one of those people,
His love so clearly pure.
Entirely gentle-natured,
Though in himself unsure.
He was far from perfect
And she was well aware of this;
He was partly broken
And had already given his true love's kiss.
She saw him for who he was,
Every flaw and all;
As she discovered his beautiful mind,
She felt herself fall.
Delving right into the depths
Of his insecurities,
He told her his darkest secrets
And to his heart, she found the keys.
She saw his raw vulnerability,
His entire being as a whole;
She didn't fall in love with his face—
She fell in love with his soul.
