My love, you are a ripple in the fabric of time,
Disrupting the perception of minutes in my mind;
You, dear, are a recurring dream by night and by day—
A moment that I desperately wish to rewind.
Your ripple caused mayhem in my lovely little life:
I had forgotten that even slight ripples can spread.
The water was disturbed by pieces of hearts and thoughts,
These small undulations formed by all that you once said.
Though we met only fleetingly and on my soul you
Have left a lasting mark with a raindrop's subtlety,
You made an hour go by as quickly as a second;
The concept of time has become an obscurity.
Because of you, I have forgotten every rhyme,
And so altered forever is my fabric of time.
