I feel as though I lost you,
Yet you were never mine to lose.
If ever given the choice,
You're the only one I'd choose.
I loved you and I love you still,
But all the same, you walked away,
Goodbye, adieu, just cannot stay,
You were never mine to keep.
So why do I still weep?
