Sometimes, she could feel
so lonely that it
felt like she would drown.
Except she couldn't
drown on only air,
so she would live and
continue breathing;
but every once
in a while, she would
forget once again
that she still possessed
the ability
to breathe, and she would
experience the
same familiar
drowning sensation.
She would drown on air.
