Twenty-Eight

Shawn walks me to support group on Friday. I was going to walk with Alex and Jade but Alex went through with that stupid date with Luke from work. I can't believe she didn't cancel it.

Shawn walks me inside and I can see Aaron standing in the doorway of room 11. We aren't really early but not everyone is here yet.

"Bye Roni." Shawn smiles.

"Bye Shawn." I smile.

He leans down and kisses my forehead before leaving the building. I look over and see Aaron smiling at me. I walk towards him and he wiggles his eyebrows.

"I didn't know you had a boyfriend." He says.

"Yeah I didn't have a boyfriend until yesterday." I laugh. He smiles and walks into the Support group room with me. Tasha sits next to me like always and Aaron sits on the other side of me.

"Tasha?" Mrs. Holly says.

"Good." She says with a smile.

"Veronica?"

"Great."

"Is there a reason why you're in such a good mood?" Mrs. Holly smiles.

"She has a boyfriend." Aaron whispers at a volume that everyone can hear.

Some people laugh or wiggle their eyebrows at me. I just blush and look down. Mrs. Holly even smiles a little and moves on to ask Aaron how he is.

"I'm good." He smiles.

We finish a little early because everybody seems to be having a good week. We gather around a table with a half empty Oreo container and a pitcher of ice tea. Aaron leans against the wall and crosses his arms. I put all of my weight onto my left leg and lean to that side.

"So your dating Shawn Mendes?" He asks.

"Yeah, you know him?" I ask.

"I don't live under a rock Roni." He rolls his eyes.

"Apparently I did." I blush. I didn't have a clue who he was when I accidentally bumped into him.

"We can leave if you want." He suggest pointing to two girls leaving the building, chatting quietly. I shrug in agreement and we leave together.

We walk for a while and talk about random stuff. Eventually I pop the question that's been on my mind.

"Do you have a girlfriend?" I ask him. He blushes and seems flustered for a second.

"Boyfriend." He corrects me timidly. I blush at my mistake but we laugh it off.

"I want to meet him." I poke Aaron's shoulder.

"Eventually." He says.

"We should have a party on my roof, yes it's cold but I don't really care." I chuckle.

"I'm down." He shrugs.

I start to text all of my friends to meet on the roof in 30 minutes. Aaron calls his boyfriend and tells him the news. Aaron said he's excited to meet me and the rest of my friends.

In 30 minutes I'm sitting on the roof with Aaron and Thalia. She said Reggie was running a little late. Soon after that, Shawn shows up. I smile and walk up to him. He kisses my cheek and grabs my hand. I love how open he is with our relationship. I usually hate PDA but when I'm with Shawn I just want to flaunt our relationship. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing.

"This is my friend Aaron." I tel Thalia and Shawn.

They make small talk while we wait for the others.
