"Are you coming?" Shawn asks.

"What?"

"Are you coming to the concert? You can sit backstage if you want but we saved a seat in the fourth row for you." He tells me.

"We wanted the first row to be all fans." He adds, smiling.

"I'll be in the fourth row." I smile. I wasn't expecting to go to the concerts. I don't know what I was expecting but this isn't it.

"We'll get ready, we still have all day but we need to go in early for sound check and to avoid being modded." He laughs at his sentence. Of course his fans wouldn't mob him. They'd probably throw flowers at him to get his attention. Some fans may scream vulgar things but that's just the way they show their love.

When I imagine people throwing flowers at him, I think of his song roses. I can imagine him jumping back from the thorny flowers and squealing when one poked him. Of course he would probably ignore the thorns on the flowers and take them as a compliment.

I laugh at my own imagination and start to get dressed. Since it's still pretty cold outside I throw on jeans and a big tan-colored sweater.

"Shawn I don't have any shoes." I look around at the three pairs of shoes I brought. Red low-top converse, all black Vans and strapped sandals. I have flip flops too but those are for when the weather gets warmer. I guess the sandals are for warmer weather too.

"Wear those." He points to my Vans.

"But they don't match." I say and look down at my outfit.

"Your wearing black jeans." He raises an eyebrow.

"Okay whatever!" I grab the shoes and stomp into the bathroom to brush my teeth and do my hair. Okay, I'm a bit moody this week if you know what I mean. Shawn just had to pick this week to start his tour, didn't he??

I come out of the bathroom with a scowl on my face.

"Are you okay?" He asks, looking concerned.

"Yes I'm fine." I say and put my phone into my small over-the-shoulder purse.

"Are you sure?" He asks. I glare at him and he backs away slowly.

We get into the van quietly. Shawn glances at me curiously a few times before I turn my head towards him.

"What?" I ask.

"There's something wrong. What did I do?" He frowns. I pinch the bridge of my nose and sigh.

"Listen. It's not you-" he stops me.

"Oh hell no. Your not breaking up with me." He points a finger at me.

"What?! I'm not!" I panic. That sounded like I was about to break up with him. I don't want to tell him the reason I'm being so weird.

"Then what was that!" He asks, just as panicky as me.

"I'm on my period Shawn." I groan, quietly so the driver can't hear us.

Shawn bursts out laughing after staring at me for a few seconds.

"Why didn't you just tell me?" He asks and wraps his arms around me. He pulls my head to his chest and I close my eyes.

"I don't know. It's embarrassing." I say against his chest.

"No it's not." I can feel him shake his head.

"Can you stop somewhere? I gotta get my girl some coffee." He says to the driver. I fee my whole body heat up when he calls me 'my girl'.
