Luke pulled back from Ashton with a smile.

"I have to ask, will you come back and work for me?" Luke asked with a hopeful look in his eyes.

Ashton bit his lip and glanced at the clock on his wall. He had already decided he was going to work for Michael at Gucci but he didn't know how to tell Luke that.

"Please don't tell me that's why you left early and went to see Michael." Luke pleaded noticing Ashton's hesitation.

"How did you know I saw Michael this morning?" Ashton asked with a frown.

"Calum called him earlier when you wouldn't answer your phone." Luke answered looking slightly ashamed.

"Well I'll be honest, I was planning on quitting Versace." Ashton said biting his lip.

Luke looked devastated.

"Why?"

"You're impossible to work for. And you act like a total ass." Ashton answered honestly.

Luke bowed his head in shame.

"I'm sorry. I don't even notice it. But please, I love having you at the office with me." Luke begged.

"I just don't know, Luke." Ashton sighed stepping inside and allowing Luke in so he could close the door.

"Look, I've been thinking long and hard about this and I want you to be in charge of GQ. You'll have your own office and a pay raise. Please, I need you there. Michael is handling Gucci just fine. You take the stress off of me and I am willing to give up the reigns to GQ to you if you'll stay." Luke spoke in a pleading tone.

"Really?" Ashton asked intrigued.

"You don't strike me as the giving up reigns type." Ashton frowned.

"I've come to realize, I'd do just about anything for you." Luke said with a small smile.

Ashton looked thoughtful.

"If that's true then tell me what happened between you and Danny."

Luke sighed.

"I'd rather not." Luke frowned slightly.

"If you tell me, I'll come back." Ashton said hoping Luke would agree.

Luke seemed to ponder his options before sighing.

"Fine. Danny and I worked for my dad. Danny was technically my boss but I did my own thing and he let me. Anyway, we dated for about a year or so. It was hardly a relationship. He and I only ever talked about work. He got pretty flirty with a new guy at the office. I didn't like the guy and had him fired. Danny found out and we got into an argument. He accused me of being jealous and I accused him of flirting with the guy. We fought some more and he started saying things just to piss me off. I over reacted and threw a decorative vase at him. Luckily it missed him. He blew up and left. He quit the next day. My dad was pissed but my mom was happy. I knew I had overreacted but I couldn't help it. I hated the way he made me feel. When I started to notice you it pissed me off. I was afraid you would make me feel the way Danny did. But you were different. You seemed to genuinely care about me."

Luke took a seat on Ashton's couch before continuing.

"I was afraid to tell you why Danny left me because I did't want you to leave me because of that. I never imagined Leliana would have found out and told you."

Ashton took a seat next to Luke.

"I punched my ex for cheating on me. Why would I leave you over something like throwing a vase at your asshole ex out of anger?" Ashton chuckled earning a smile from Luke.

"This is what I love about you, you're so understanding." Luke smiled warmly at Ashton.

Ashton returned the smile taking Luke's hand.

"So will you come back to Versace?" Luke asked hopeful once again.

"Yes." Ashton nodded.

"I know that our relationship won't be easy but I do know that I'll do my best." Luke said looking down at their intertwined hands.

"That's all I could ever ask for." Ashton grinned before lifting Luke's chin.

Ashton leaned in and placed his lips on Luke's.

"And I want you to know that we'll probably argue and fight but I'll never give up on you. I promise." Ashton spoke sweetly.

Luke felt a large grin tug at his lips. Ashton really did make him feel something he'd never felt before and he loved it.
