EMILYS P.O.V

I awoke with my stomach churning. I smiled when I felt Daniels hand resting on my stomach. I thought about what happened yesterday and the argument I'd had with Daniel. Just because I had told him I was pregnant didn't mean he wasn't going to be angry with me. 'But he wasn't angry at me last night,' I thought to myself. 'But then again maybe he was just being nice because I was sick,' I thought some more.

Thoughts wrapped around my mind and my heart beat began to increase. My breathing shortened and I was taking short, sharp breaths. 'Calm down,' I told myself.

My stomach began churning again and I jumped out of bed and ran to the ensuite and emptied my stomach.

"It's alright baby girl," Daniel said running in behind he and holding my hair off my face.

I went to stand up but my stomach flipped and I lent back to the toilet and emptied what I had left in it. Daniel gently rubbed light circles on my back and helped me stand up once I had finished.

"Why don't we go out onto the beach?" He suggested.

I shook my head.

"I just want to go back to bed." I said as he wrapped his arms around me so I could snuggle into his chest.

"It'll make you feel better," he said.

"Okay, but if it doesn't we are coming back inside." I said.

He grabbed my hand and walked out to sit on the porch swing.

As soon as my nostrils filled with the fresh air, my stomach was lifted and I smiled a little. As we sat down I looked over to Daniel.

"Are you angry with me?" I asked.

"No," he replied. "At first I was because I thought you had been acting strangely because you were having an affair with Jack, but now I know you're not and I wouldn't let you go especially with the baby," he said rubbing a hand over my stomach.

"I want you to know I didn't kis.........."

He cut me off when his lips pressed to mine.

"I know you didn't," he wispered.

"You know, I haven't been to the doctors yet," I said as I looked towards him. "I was thinking we could go today."

"Yeah sure," he said. "Why don't you go have a shower and then I'll drive."

"Ok," I said standing up.

"I'll be here if you need me," he said as I walked inside.

I went up to the shower and sighed as the hot water ran over my face. It made me feel better than before and I smiled to myself as I ran my hand over my stomach. I hadn't even begun to show but it was a nice feeling to know someone was inside of me.

I dried off and put on a new change of clothes; letting my hair hang in its natural loose curls.

"You ready?" Daniel asked as I walked down the stairs.

"Yep," I said grabbing my purse.

We walked out to the car and I sat down in the passenger seat as Daniel started the car.

When we arrived at the clinic I panicked that someone we knew might see us. I didn't want anyone to know about the baby until we had a low chance of a misscarriage. Daniel grabbed my hand and we walked through the doors. I gasped when I saw Charlotte sitting down in the waiting room. It was a specific clinic for pregnancy ultrasounds so there was no chance she was here for something different.

"Charlotte," I said walking over to her.

She gasped when she saw me.

"Ahh, why are you here?" She asked.

"I'm guessing the same reason you are," I said sitting down next to her.

"Your pregnant?" She asked.

I nodded my head twice and smiled.

"You must be too?" I asked.

She nodded in return before the doctor called our.

"Miss Charlotte Clarke!"

She stood up and hugged me before following the doctor into the room. Daniel walked over.

"Charlottes here?" He asked.

"Yeah," I said slowly. "Our baby's going to have a cousin," I said smiling.

"Wow," he said as I grabbed him hand.

"Miss Emily Thorne!" A different doctor walked out.

I stood up with Daniel and followed the doctor into a small room.

"Lye down," the doctor said.

I obeyed his instruction and laid down on the bed and rolled up my top.

"This will be cold," she said placing the gel onto my stomach.

I wiggled to the cold which made Daniel laugh a little.

"Do you want to hear the heat beat?" The doctor asked.

I nodded and she flicked a switch which filled the room with a loud static sound, followed by the rhythmic heartbeat if the baby. My eyes began to fill with tears as she moved the wand over my stomach and I saw my baby for the first time.

"By the looks of it Miss Thorne, you are 11 weeks pregnant. I'm estimating your due 14 June." She said.

I smiled and Daniel thanked the doctor as I rolled my top back down.

"I'll see you again next week," she said as I stood up.

"Thank you," I said exiting the room.

As I walked out Charlotte was standing at the reception desk and I walked over.

"Would you mind not telling anyone about this?" I asked.

"I won't if you won't," she said smiling.

"Deal," I said. "How far along are you?" I asked.

"10 weeks. And you?"

"11," I said smiling.

"That's great, I'm so happy for you!" She said.

"And I'm happy for you Charlotte!" I said.

"Congratulations Charlotte," Daniel said walking up behind me.

"And to you, soon to be daddy," she said.

He laughed a little at her comment before turning to me.

"Mums invited us to dinner," he said.

"Ok, let's get going," I said smiling.

"Bye Em," Charlotte said kissing my cheek.

"Bye," I waved excitedly.
