DANIELS P.O.V


"Where were you?" Charlotte asked as we walked into Grayson Manor.
"Sorry Char, we fell asleep," I said giving her a kiss on her cheek.

I looked over at Emily and my smile faded when I saw her. Her hands were gingerly sitting over her stomach and she was looking around for any sign of my mother.

"Come here," I said sitting down on the couch.

She moved over and snuggled into my arms; but the worried look didn't leave her face.

"Where's mum?" I asked looking over at Charlotte.
"She went out," she said.

I looked back down at Emily and exhaled deeply when I saw the relief wash over her face.

"Why do you ask?" She said curiously.
"We were hoping not to run into her, dinner didn't go well last night," I said giving Emilys hand a little squeeze.
"Why what happened?" She asked.

I looked over at Emily who still had her hands wrapped protectively around her stomach.

"Tell her," I said kissing her forehead lightly.

Emily moved off my body and moved her hands to the bottom of her top. She lifted it up to reveal the purple bruise covering the left side of her stomach.

"Did mum do that?" Charlotte asked.

Emily nodded twice and moved her top back down as I pulled her into my arms.

"When was your mother returning?" Emily asked.
"Any moment now," charlotte said looking at the clock.
"We should go before she arrives....."
"Charlotte I'm home," my mothers voice echoed through the house.

I looked over at Emily and saw the panic flash through her eyes as he touched her stomach lightly.

When my mother walked in she dropped her bag.

"I didn't know you two would be here," she said looking from me to Emily.
"We are just leaving," I said pulling my arm around Emily's face to let her know he was safe.

"Mum I have some news," Charlotte said standing up and distracting my mother.
"And what would that news be?" she asked curiously.
"Well...... Daniel and Emily's baby is going to have a cousin!" Charlotte beamed.
"WHAT?!" My mother yelled. "YOUR PREGNANT TO?!"
"Yes mother," Charlotte said calmly.
"I FORBID YOU! YOU WILL GET RID OF THE BABY!" my mother screamed.
"ARE YOU ASKING ME TI HAVE AN ABORTION?" Charlotte yelled.
"IM NOT ASKING YOU, IM TELLING YOU." mum yelled.
"We are going," I sand placing my hand behind Emily's back.
"Daniel! we can't leave Charlotte!" Emily said to me. "Charlotte would you like to come stay with us?" he asked looking at Charlotte.
"I would love to," she said giving us a small smile.
"YOU WOULDN'T DARE!" mum yelled.
"I AN GOING TO STAY WITH DANIEL AND EMILY!" Charlotte yelled back.

My mothers hand struck the side if Charlottes face.

"Lets go," I said grabbing Charlottes hand. "it's not safe for either if you, or either if the babies," u said looking at both Emily and Charlotte.
"I need clothes Daniel!" Charlotte said as I pulled her and Emily to the car.
"We can get them later," I said. "but for now, let's get the two of you far away from where my mother can hurt you."

I got into to passenger seat if the car as Emily sped far away from Grayson Manor.



A/N:ok so I know it us short but its late and I got back from a party. I realised that chapter I had started had disappeared so then I started re typing on the computer. then my mum kicked me off so I started typing on my phone. then my phone when flat an i lost the chapter again! Its 12:30 now and i an going to sleep! anyway, hope you like it. And please comment and vote!
