DANIELS P.O.V

I laughed aloud as Emily waddled down the stairs.

"What?" She asked when she noticed I was Starring at her.

"Nothing," I said as she sat down on the stool next to me.

"The cakes look beautiful Sara," Emily said looking over them.

Yes, Sara my ex. It felt right with her making the cake. She needed help to get back on her feet after the night I almost killed her. Emily didn't mind, well at least she didn't appear to.

"This one is strawberry," she said handing a plate to me and then Emily.

"None, for me thank you," Emily said pushing the plate away.

Sara looked at her puzzled.

"I'm anafalatic," Emily explained.

"I guess a no to a strawberry layer then," Sara said laughing a little.

"Daniel loves strawberries though. If Daniel likes it do one layer of strawberry," she said.

"It tastes amazing," I said through a mouthful of cake.

"A strawberry layer it is then," Emily said smiling.

"What do you like Emily?" She asked her.

"I love the chocolate meringue one," she said putting another spoonful of that in her mouth.

"I do to," I said smiling.

"How about the bottom layer strawberry and the others chocolate?" Emily asked.

"Sounds perfect," I said.

"Strawberry, Chocoalte-meringue it is then," Sara said.

"That would be lovely," I said.

"How many tiers?" She asked.

"I think 5," Emily said.

"5 it is," I said to Sara.

"Great, thank you Sara," Emily said.

"No, thank you Emily. I know how strange this must be for you," Sara said.

"It's fine honestly," Emily said.

"I'll walk you out," I said standing up.

"Bye Emily," Sara said waving back at her.

"Bye."

EMILYS P.O.V

"Let's go shopping," I said as Daniel walked back inside.

"Are you up for it?" He asked.

"Yes, I'm fine!" I said.

"Alright, let's go," he said grabbing his car keys.

We got into the car and drove to the baby shop.

"What do we need?" He asked getting out of the car.

"A stroller, car seat and a change table," I said walking into the doors.

I spotted a change table straight away. It was the same color as the cot and bassinet so it would work perfectly in the room.

"This one," I said walking over to it.

"That was quick," Daniel said.

"It's perfect," I said running my hand over the wood.

"Are you sure?" He asked me.

"Yes, it's amazing," I said.

He walked over and got a big shopping cart. He picked up a flat pack and placed it in the trolley and we kept walking the isles.

"Can I help you?" A young women who I presumed walked there asked.

"We were looking for a baby seat and a stroller," Daniel said.

"Well, we have just normal car seats, capsules; so you can have the baby in the rocker and then the rocker becomes the car seat," she said.

"I'll like the idea of the capsule," I said to Daniel.

"Or there is a capsule that also fits into a stroller as well as the car seat," the girl said.

"Could we look at that one?" I asked.

She led us over to the most beautiful looking pram will a car seat.

"I love it!" I said excitedly.

"The only problem is that once they are 18 months the capsules become to small," the lady says.

"I know you love it Em, but she's right. Why waste the money?" He asked.

"Surely we will have other children that can use it," I said. "And it's not like we don't have the money either," I pointed out.

Daniel looked back to the women.

"Can we have one of these," he asked.

"Sure. They come in baby pink, baby blue, grey, or black," she said.

"The black one," I said straight away.

"I'll be right back," she said walking away from us.

She returned a few moments later pushing a black stroller.

"You attach this into the car," She said handing Daniel the base to the capsule. "And then this just clips into the pram like this," she said showing me how to attach the capsule. "It's pretty straight forward, just make sure you read the instructions properly."

"Thank you," I said taking the stroller from her.

"It's no problem, good luck with your baby," she said smiling.

We walked up to the front desk; Daniel with the trolley which had the change table and part of the capsule, and me pushing the stroller.

"Thank you for shopping with us," the lady at the checkout said as we left.

"We should go by the nursery and pick some paint for the nursery," Daniel said.

"But what color? We don't know what gender the baby is," I pointed out.

"How about just a soft grey and I'll get Charlotte to paint a tree on the back wall?" He asked.

"That sounds perfect," I said running my hand over my stomach.

"Grey it is then. We better get some paint for the tree as well though."

"Alright, let's go," I said kissing his cheek.
