19 Week Ultrasound

EMILYS P.O.V

{19 WEEKS PREGNANT}

"What did you want to do today?" Daniel asked as I walked into the bedroom.
"I don't mind," I said speaking over to him which caused him to laugh. "What?" I asked.
"You waddle when you walk," he said smiling.

I grabbed a cushion from beside him and whacked it into his face.

"I can't help it," I whined sitting down next to him.
"How is your back?" He asked me rubbing it gently.
"It's a little sore but I'm ok," I said leaning into his chest.
"We have a doctors appointment in an hour remember?" He asked me.
"That's why I can up silly, to get you out of bed!" I said laughing.
"Oh really!" He said throwing a cushion at me softly.
"Get up!" I yelled standing up.
"Alright, alright! I'm up," he said jumping out of bed.
"Good! We are leaving in half an hour," I called walking out of the room.

--------------AT THE DOCTORS-----------

"Do you think everything will be ok?" Daniel asked as we sat down in the waiting room.
"Daniel, I haven't been sick in weeks and I haven't been feeling I'll or having any symptoms of the eclampsia. You need to relax," I said grabbing his hand.
"I just worry about you. I know you are focused on the baby but my primary concern is you and the preeclampsia affects you as well as the baby," he said.
"Thank you for worrying, but honestly, I will tell you as soon and I start feeling ill again," I said.

"Miss Thorne!" We were interrupted by the doctor calling my name.

"Everything is going to be fine," I said to Daniel as I stood up.

He nodded, unsure of what the doctor was going to say.

DANIELS P.O.V


"How are you Miss Thorne?" The doctor asked as Emily laid down on the bed.
"Great thank you," she said rolling up her top.
"I'm sorry to hear you were diagnosed with Preeclampsia while you were away," she said turning on the machine.
"Thank you," I said grabbing Emilys hand.
"How have you been feeling?" She asked covering her stomach in gel.
"Great actually. I haven't been sick and I've had no issues with the preeclampsia either," she said.
"Sounds like you might be one of the lucky ones," the nurse said smiling.
"Yes," Emily said smiling.

We went silent and listened to the baby's heart beat.

"Everything; other than the preeclampsia is perfect," the doctor said smiling.

She wiped the gel of Emily's stomach and I helped her sit up.

"I'll see you next for the 25 week ultrasound, but if you fall ill again please come and see me," she said smiling.
"I'll make sure of it, don't you worry," I said moving my hand behind Emilys back.
"Bye Mr Grayson, Miss Thorne," the nurse said smiling.
"Bye," Emily replied.

I guided her out back into the waiting room, where we walked out the doors and back to the car.

"I told you everything would be fine," Emily said smiling.
"Aright, you win, but you know I worry," I said sitting down in the car.
"I know You do, but you need to take a chill pill," she said laughing.
"Alright! I get the message," I said starting the car. "Let's go," I said driving away.
"Let's go shopping," Emily said.
"What for?" I asked.
"A bassinet and stroller," she said grabbing my hand.
"Alright let's go," I said making a u turn and driving towards the shopping center.
