THE FOLLOWING DAY


EMILYS P.O.V



My eyes snapped open as my stomach flipped. I looked around. Where the hell was I? I took in my surroundings and remembered we were staying with Marie and Edward. But I'd never been here before, where was the bathroom? I had no idea but I needed to find a toilet quickly. I pushed the covers off my body and ran out into the hallway where Marie was standing.

MARIES (DANIELS GRANDMA) P.O.V


I saw Emily run out in the hallway, her face was pale and she was shaking.

"What's wrong love?" I asked walking over to her.
"Bathroom?" She asked.
"Down the hall on your left," I said pointing to the door.
"Thank you," she said.

She sprinted down the hall and ran into the bathroom.

"Emily!" I called walking after her.
"I've got it, thanks nan," Daniel said sprinting past me and into the bathroom.

DANIELS P.O.V


I ran past nan and into the bathroom. I scooped the hair from Emilys face and rubbed her back.

"It's ok," I said.

She continued to throw up.

"I'm here baby," I said patting her back lightly.

She finished and looked up at me.

"Any better?" I asked.

She nodded but her face was still pale.

"Nan! Could you get us a glass of water please?" I called out.
"Coming Danny!" She replied.

Em moved her elbow onto the rim of the toilet and leaned her head on her hand. I squatted down next to her and stroked her forehead lightly.

"Here you go love," nan said handing her a glass of water.
"Thanks nan, we'll be out in a moment," I said.
"No problem, call me if you need anything else. If you wanted to have a shower there are fresh towels there Emily," she said pointing to the new set of towels.
"Thank you," Emily said slowly.

My nan walked back out of the room leaving just the two of us.

"I might have a shower," Emily said moving her head to look at me.
"Sure baby," I said helping her stand up. "I'll be out in the living room if you need me."
"Thanks."

EMILYS P.O.V


I turned on the shower and relaxed as the hot water ran over my face.

"Why are you making mummy sick?" I asked out loud.

There was a sharp pain on one side if my stomach and I covered the spot with my hand. It stopped and then moments later I felt it again. I looked down and saw my stomach rise as I felt the pain again a and I realized the baby was kicking.

"Here as some clothes," Daniel said as he walked in carrying some new clothes.

When he didn't get a reply he worried.

"Em?! What's wrong?" He asked walking over to the shower curtain.
"Come here," Is aid grabbing his hand.

I placed it over the same spot on my stomach.

"Is that a kick?" Daniel asked a smile spreading across his face.
"I think so," I said placing my hand over his.
"That's amazing," he said.
"I know," I said moving my hand and turning off the shower.

I dried off my body and put on the new clothes as Daniel left to speak to his grandma. I brushed my hair and it sat in its loose curls.

DANIELS P.O.V


I was sitting down on the couch opposite my nan when Emily walked out.

"Marie," she said. "It's so nice to see you again. I'm sorry about before."
"And same to you Emily," she said kissing her cheek. "No need to apologize. You can't exactly help it!"
"No! If I had it my way things would be different," Emily said laughing as she sat down next to me.
"Everyone would love, I was exactly the same. Did you have anything you wanted to do while you were up here?" She asked.
"Well, I'm not familiar with this area so what should we do?" Emily asked.
"We don't have to do anything if you're not up to it Emily, we can just have lazy days if you don't feel well," my grandma said.
"I think some lazy days might be needed," I said laughing.
"Actually Marie, I was hoping you might come shopping with some baby clothes for me. My parents aren't around and Victoria and I don't exactly see eye to eye," Emily said.

Nan's eyes lit up like a child's at Christmas.

"I would love to!" She said excitedly.
"How about tomorrow?" Emily asked.
"Tomorrow sounds great! You can spend time with your grandpa Daniel," nan said.
"I'm glad you want to come," Emily said.
"I would live to come. We can have some girl time!" Nan said excitedly.
"I'm looking forward to it already," Em said running a hand over her stomach.
