EMILYS P.O.V

THE FOLLOWING WEEK

I sat in the sand scrunched up my toes. It was warm and hard, and it felt nice on my feet. We had Victorias party in 2 hours and I was waiting for Daniel to wake up. Today was the day we would announce our pregnancy to the public, and I could finally stop hiding my baby bump.

"Em," Daniel said interrupting my thoughts.
"Hi," I said turning around.

He sat down next to me and put his arm around my stomach.

"Daniel!" I said moving his hand away.
"What?"
"Not while everyone can see us, they don't know yet!" I said.
"Well they will this afternoon," he said grabbing my arms and pulling me closer to him.
"I love you," I said leaning back into him.
"I love you to. Are you feeling better?" He asked me.
"I came outside to try settle my stomach, I'm alright," I said.
"Are you sure you're happy to go today?"
"Daniel we have to. Your mother can't announce Baby Grayson if we aren't there," I said.
"I just worry about you. It's not nice for either of us to have you sick every day," he said.
"I will be ok. Now let's get ready for your mums party," I said standing up.

-------------IN THE BEDROOM-------------

"I have no clothes to wear," I said walking out of the wardrobe and sitting on the bed.

I had a pair of pants on that were to tight, and my stomach was exposed because I hadn't yet picked a top.

"What?" I asked when I noticed Daniel starring at me.
"You look so beautiful," he said walking over to me.
"Daniel! I look fat and I don't have any clothes to cover my stomach!" I said angrily.
"Em," he said grabbing my hands to stop me from walking. "You're not fat, you are growing our baby."

He ran his hand over my stomach and I smiled.

"As for your clothes," he said walking into the wardrobe. "What about this?"

He was holding up a green dress.

"That's tight! I can't hide my stomach," I said.
"Ok," he said.

He moved to the back of the wardrobe and pulled out a box hiding behind other clothes.

"I was going to save this, but here," he said handing the box to me.
"What's this?" I asked sitting back down on the bed.
"Open it," he said sitting down next to me.

I lifted the lid off the top of the box and gasped at the blue fabric. I grabbed the straps of the dress and pulled it out if the box. It was a deep sea blue and went to the floor. The fabric was soft to touch and it was baggy so I could easily hide my baby bump.

"Daniel! It's beautiful!" I said turning to him.
"I'm glad you like it," he said brightly.
"I don't like it! I love it!" I said pulling him into a hug. "Thank you baby."
"Anything for you and baby Grayson," he said smiling. "Now get dressed and we will go to the party."

-----------------AT THE PARTY--------------

DANIELS P.O.V

"You look stunning!" I said to Emily as we walked into the Manor.
"Only because you have an impeccable taste in dresses," she said laughing.
"Are you ok?" I asked.
"I might go get some water. I'm sure I'll be fine as long as I don't eat," she said.
"I'll get some water, you stay and talk," I said smiling.
"Ok."

I walked over to the table and collected a glass of water before walking back to see Emily talking with my mother.

"Thank you," she said as I handed her the glass of water.
"Are you ready to get started Daniel?" My mother asked.
"Yeah as long as you are Em," I said looking at her.

She nodded and my mother walked up the stairs and onto the balcony where she could get everyone's attention. The waiter walked past us and offered us some egg sandwiches.

"Daniel," Emily said making me look at her.

Her face had gone white and she grabbed my hand.

"The egg," she said.
"Just take a sip of water," I said calmly.

I moved my hand and rubbed her back gently while she took small sips of water.

"Better?" I asked.
"Can we go once your mum is done?" She asked.

I nodded and continued to rub her back.

"Can I have your attention please!" My mothers voice echoed through the room.

Everyone turned towards my mother and the press began clicking cameras and recording her speach.

"Everyone gathered here tonight because I, along with my husband Conrad, my daughter Charlotte and her boyfriend Declan, my son Daniel and his fiancée Emily; had a public announcement to make to the press," my mother started.

I looked down to Emily who was still drinking water trying to settle her stomach.

"It's ok baby," I whispered running my hand lightly over her stomach. "This will be done soon."

"My family and I have some exciting news to share," my mother continued. "We came here tonight to announce the next generation of the Grayson Family."

The crowd began brimming with excitement and began talking to each other in hushed voices.

"It is my pressure to announce the pregnancy of my son Daniel and his Fiancée the beautiful Emily Thorne."

The crowd erupted with cheers and the cameras began clicking photos of the two of us.

"But that is not the only announcement I have tonight," my mother interrupted the crowd.

I looked away and turned to Emily.

"Feeling better?" I asked.

She shook her head and kept a hand over her stomach.

"Can we just go?" She asked.
"Ok," I said grabbing her around the waist.

I walked up the stairs with Emily just as my mother was finishing talking.

"I am also proud to announce that my daughter Charlotte is also expecting a baby, a week after Emily and Daniel."

The crowd once again started cheering and turned to Charlotte.

"Mum," I said getting her attention.
"Yes Daniel," she said walking to the top of the stairs.
"We are going to head off, Emily isn't feeling well," I said.
"Daniel! Stop being over protective! She's fine!" My mother said.
"Daniel, I can't do this," Emily said.
"Ok, just let me talk to my mum," I said.
"Daniel, I need to go," Emily said grabbing my arm.
"Just wait please!" I said angrily turning my back on her.

Only once I had turned to my mother did I realize how sick Emily was feeling. I turned back around but she had disappeared.

"Emily?" I asked looking around for her.

I caught sight of her golden locks running towards the bathroom and I immediately took off after her. I ran into the bathroom to see her throwing up into the toilet.

"It's ok baby," I said pulling the hair out of her face.

She finished and looked up at me with tears in her eyes.

"I told you I wanted to go," she said as a tear slid down her cheek.
"I know baby, I'm sorry," I said wiping her cheek. "Are you ok to go now?"

She nodded and I helped her stand up. As soon as she went to walk out of the room her face went pale and her hand moved gingerly to her stomach.

"It's ok," I said rubbing her stomach lightly and handing her a glass of water.

She took small sips and the color returned to her face slightly.

"Let's go home," I said grabbing her hand.
