Saving her Life

CHARLOTTES P.O.V

My eyes opened and I realized the baby was no longer on my chest.

"DECLAN!" I screamed.

"Charlotte? What's wrong?" He asked.

I looked around and realized Daniel and Nolan were gone. Daniel would have taken the baby.

"It's ok," I said calming down.

When I looked over I realized Amanda and Jack were now both awake and Amelia started to cry in Declan's arms.

"Come to mummy," I said reaching out my arms.

I sat down and undid my top as I fed her.

"Family of Mrs Grayson?" The nurse call out.

"Yes!" I said standing up.

"You can see her now."

Amanda and Jack quickly stood up and I did up my top and laid Amelia in my arms.

"Let's go," I said walking towards the hospital room.

We got to the end of the corridor and we all burst into the room.

"Emily! are you ok?" I said moving to the side of the bed.

"I'm fine Charlotte," she said.

"What happened?"

"Well...." She said with a little laugh. "I ate some of the strawberry wedding cake."

"You dil!" I said laughing a little.

Thomas began to cry and Emily looked away from me.

"Go to mummy," Daniel said putting the baby in her arms.

The doctor walked in and interrupted our conversation.

"Mr Grayson, can I speak with you?" He asked Daniel.

"Yeah sure," he said standing up and following the doctor out of the room.

DANIELS P.O.V

I walked out of the room and looked at the doctor.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Who gave your wife the epipen?" She asked.

"Well I injected the needle into her leg but Amanda said I was doing it wrong and took over," I explained.

she looked at me and I didn't really know what to think because her facial expression was so difficult to read.

"Is something wrong?" I asked.

"Your wife would have been dead if Amanda hadn't of done what she did," she said.

I gasped and looked through the window in the door at Emily lying on the bed.

"She saved her life," she explained.

I looked back at her and tears slid down my face. Happy ones of course. Grateful for Amanda and what she had done.

"Thank you," I said turning away from the doctor.

NO ONES P.O.V

Daniel walked back into the room with tears running down his face.

"Daniel what's wrong?" Emily asked him.

He ignored her and walked straight to Amanda, stuffing his head into her curls.

"Daniel what happened?" She asked embracing him into a hug.

"Thank you thank you thank you thank you," was all he managed to say.

"Daniel talk to me!" Emily said in a worried tone.

"I don't even know what to say to you," he said standing back and looking at Amanda while wiping away his tears.

"Daniel I don't know what you are talking about," she said.

"The doctor- you- the epipen. She would have died, if it wasn't for you," he explained.

"Oh my god," Emily said bursting into tears.

"Thank you thank you thank you," Daniel repeated.

"Amanda!" Emily said opening her arms.

Amanda walked forward and Emily pulled her into her body. She cried onto her shoulder for a while before looking up.

"I don't know how to thank you," she said with tears still running down her face.

"You don't have to Em, that's what friends are for," she said smiling.

"Three cheers for Amanda!" Charlotte called out. "Hip-ip!"

"Hooray."

"Hip-ip!"

"Hooray."

"Hip-ip!"

"Hooray."

"Thank you so much Mandy," Emily said hugging her again.

"We've been through so much, and I owed you anyway," she said with a little laugh.

"I love you Em," she said.

"I love you too."
