MARIES P.O.V


"Are you sure you are feeling ok?" I asked Emily again.
"I feel great, honestly!" She said.
"You are happy going shopping?" I asked.
"I have waited to do this all week with you!" She said.
"Alright then! But I have a treat first," I said smiling.
"Where are we going?" She asked as I pulled up out the front of a glass building.
"I told you, it's my treat!" I said laughing.

We got out of the car and walked into the lobby of the building.

"Miss Thorne, Mrs Grayson; we've been expecting you," the receptionist said handing us both a dressing gown.
"What is this place?" Emily asked.
"It's a day spa," I said smiling.
"Marie!" She said. "You didn't have to do this!"
"But I did, you are my granddaughter in law," I said.
"Thank you," she said kissing my cheek.
"It's my pleasure," I said.

EMILYS P.O.V


I relaxed immediately as my shoulders were massaged. My hands were out getting a manicure and my feet were soaking in a foot spa. I had my names French manicured and they looked beautiful.

"Thank you so much Marie," I said standing up thinking we were done.
"We're not done yet Em," she said leading me to a different room.

When we walked in a gasped. The walls were entirely made of glass and because we were on the penthouse floor of the building we had a view of the whole bay. The waves were crashing against the rocks making rainbows fly through the air.

"Are you getting in?" Marie asked sliding into the water.
"I didn't bring my bathers," I confessed.
"That's why I bought you some," Marie said with a smile as she pointed over to the chair.

There was a two piece aqua bather set sitting on the chair.

"You bought me bathers to?" I asked looking at her.

She nodded and smiled.

"Thank you Marie," I said again.
"Emily!!! Stop saying thank you and go get changed!" She said which made me laugh.

I went into the change rooms and took off my clothes putting on the bathers. It was a normal bikini bottom but the top went right down to just under my belly button, and it was the perfect fit for my little baby bump. I walked back out and slid into the pool.

"You look georgeous!" Marie exclaimed.
"Only thanks to you!" I said smiling.
"Just enjoy yourself, you deserve it!" She said.

I floated on my back and looked out onto the beach. Everything was so peaceful and calm, and I enjoyed it that way. I didn't have a care in the world.

"This one is cute," Marie said holding up a onesie behind me.
"It's gorgeous," I said taking it from her hands.
"Do you think we have enough?" She asked.

I looked down into the basket. 5 girls onesies, 5 boy onesies, 7 other onesies. 4 dummies, 6 blankets, 4 pairs if socks and 3 beanies.

"I think so," I said looking up at her.

MARIES P.O.V


Emily started shifting on her feet.

"Are you alright love?" I asked.
"Yeah my backs just a bit sore," she said rubbing it quickly.
"I think we have enough, let's get you back home," I said.

We went to the checkout and once the lady was finished I handed her my credit card.

"Marie! I'm paying!" Emily said.
"Don't be silly Emily, it's my treat," I said.
"No, you've already treated me enough! I'm paying," she said handing her card to the cashier.
"No!" I yelled.

I snatched Emilys card from the lady's hand.

"Put it on my card please," I said nicely.

She obeyed and once the clothes had been paid for I handed Emily her card back.

"Thank you Marie," Emily said again.
"It is no problem honestly!" I said. "Let's get going."

I picked up the bags and walked to the car followed by Emily. I it them in the back seat and after both of us had seat belts on I started the car and drove back to the house.

"Thank you for today," Emily said. "It was great."
"I'm glad you enjoyed it, and it was my pleasure," I said.

We pulled up in the garage.

"I've got the bags," I said as Emily lent down to get them.
"Honestly I'm fine," Emily said.
"No! I insist. Especially if your back is sore," I said taking them from her hands.

We made our way inside where Daniel was waiting for us.

DANIELS P.O.V


"What's wrong baby?" I asked as Emily walked in.
"My backs sore," she said sitting down on the couch.
"How my other baby," I asked running my hand over her stomach.
"Oww! She said placing he hand to the left of her stomach.
"Sorry," I said moving my hand away.
"No it wasn't you, it was the baby," she said grabbing my hand and putting it over her stomach.

I felt it kick against my hand and I smiled.

"What did you buy?" I asked.
"I didn't buy anything! Your grandma wouldn't let me pay!" She said looking over at nan.
"Nan, you didn't have to," I said.
"Yes I did," she said smiling.
"Well thank you," I said smiling back.
"And that wasn't all!" Emily said. "She took me to the most beautiful day spa."
"Nan you are so sweet," I said moving over and kissing her cheek.
"Anything for the two of you," she said smiling.

"Are you ready to leave in the morning?" I asked turning back to Emily.
"Yes, I'm all packed," she said.
"I was thinking we should leave early to avoid all the traffic," I said.
"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Nan asked. "What if Emily is sick?"
"If you don't feel well in the morning we can wait to later ok baby," I said.
"Yep that's fine. I'm heading to bed though, I'm exhausted," she said.
"Alright, I will to," I said.
"Night Marie," Emily said kissing her cheek. "Thank you for today."
"It's my pleasure dear," she said as I hugged her.
"Night nan," I said.
"Night you two," she replied.

We walked into the bedroom and pulled the covers over us; where both of us fell asleep almost instantly.
