Sick Again

DANIELS P.O.V

"Emily?" I asked rolling over and realising she wasnt lying in bed next to me.

It was 3:30 am, where could she be?"

"Emily?" I asked again walking down the stairs.

the door was wide open letting the cold night air circulate through the house.

"Em?," I said walking outside.

"Over here," she said from the porch swing.

"what are you doing out here?" I asked sitting down next to her.

"I didnt feel well," she said snuggling into my chest.

"Is the baby making you sick?" I asked her running my hands over her baby bump.

she nodded and placed her hand over mine.

"Maybe we should go to the doctors tomorrow," I suggested.

"Daniel, I'm fine," she siad standing up. "Lets go back to bed."

"Alright," I said grabbing her hand.

we walked back up to the bedroom and we laid back down in bed.

"Better?" I asked.

"A little," she said closing her eyes.

MORNING

I woke up suddenly because the covers flew off the bed. i opened my eyes to see Emily sprinting for the bathroom.

"Hey, hey baby girl," I said running after her.

i pulled the hair off her face and tied it up with a hair tie that was sitting on the sink.

"Shh," I said rubbing her back as she looked up at me.

she had bags under her eyes and her face was clammy.

"You are sick again," I said touching her forehaead.

"mhm," she said closing her eyes.

"did you actually sleep lst night?" I asked.

she shook her head.

"The baby kept kicking me," she said placing a hand over her stomach.

"Lets get you back to bed," I said bending down.

i scopped her up in my arms and caried her like a baby. she nestled into my chest and I laid her back down on the bed.

"Lay with me," she saud reaching out her hand.

"I am going to call the doctor first," I said sitting down next to her.
