DANIELS P.O.V

"THis is beautiful," Emily said running here hands over the dark wood of the cot.

"Do you like this one?" I asked pointing to the one in the corner.

"No, I like this one," she said not taking her eyes off it.

"You dont want to look in a different shop? you are definatly happy with this one?" I asked.

"Daniel, I love it," she said.

"Alright, that one it is then," I said. "Ill go and find a flat pack one."

I walked away and found a man in his 30's that worked at the store.

"What can I help you with?" he asked me.

"Do you have a flat pack of the dark brown crib?" I asked pointing over to where the cot was.

"Yes, ill come get it for you," he said walking away.

i walked back over to the cot and ran my hands over the wood like Emily had; and I realised how much she loved it and wanted it for out baby.

"Here you go sir," the man walked back holding a large box. "There is also a matching basinet, did you want to get that as well?" he asked.

i looked around for Emily.

"Em?!" I called out waiting for an answer. "Emily!"

"What now Daniel," she asked walking around from behind the shelves carrying a small box with the unesembled shelves in them.

"Hey! What do you think you are doing!" I said taking the box out of her hands immediatly.

"I just wanted to help," she said.

"You'll hurt yourself," I said kissing her forehead. "Anyway, there is a matching basinet to the crib, did you want to get that to?"

a smile spread across her ce and she nodded her head.

"Yes thankyou," I said turning to the man.

he walked back out and minutes later returned wiht a second box.

"Do we need anything else?" I asked Emily.
"Only a stroller and a car seat, but we don't have to get them today," she said.
"We can, how are you feeling?" I asked.
"My backs sore, maybe we should come back another day?" she suggested.
"Why not," I said smiling.

I walked to the front desk with both boxes, and the flat pack shelves and paid for them.

"We need a change table as well Daniel," Emily said touching my arm.
"We can get that next time as well," I said turning around.

He nodded her head and I picked up the boxes walking to the car. once they were firmly in the back, and we were ready to leave; I started the car and drove back to the beach house.

"You are exhausted," I said rubbing Emily's back.
"Mhm," she said sitting down on the couch.
"Go to bed," I said siting next to her."
"Will you come with me?" she asked.

I nodded and we made our way up the stairs to the bedroom.

"Argh," Emily said lying down.
"The baby just kicked my ribs," she said placing a hand at the top of her stomach.

As we laid down in bed a wrapped my arms around her and tried to settle the baby down.

"Is that better?" I asked.
"No, but I'm exhausted, ill sleep anyway."
