"Livvy honey! Wake up for school" Olivia heard her mother call for her, raising an eyebrow as to why she seemed so cheery towards her this particular morning. Groaning she rolled across her large circle bed and clambered for the clock. 7:15. "Urgh" she moaned when she realised she had to get up.

Waking zombie-like yawning to the kitchen she heard her mother singing away to the radio "morning baby, sit up there with Penny and i'll fetch your breakfast" her mother spoke motioning to the breakfast bar, Olivia saw Penny already eating her cereal "bet she got the good cereal" Olivia mumbled to herself quietly "there you go" her mother beamed sliding across a bowl of her favourite cereal. This confused Olivia, usually her mother was quiet, focusing solely on the child prodigy that was Penny her 11 year old sister and always leaving Olivia to wake up and make her own breakfast. "Take it dad's not home?" She asked sarcastically as she narrowed her eyes at her mother, it was safe to say she didnt have a kind word to say about her parents and the sooner she could move out the better, her mother smiled cheerily to her "he is away for a few days" she replied, they both smiled, life was better when her father wasnt around, he was dreadfully strict with them both all except Penny who could get away with murder "with another woman?" Olivia teased with a mouthful of Captain Crunch her mother shot her a look "not in front of your sister Liv" she warned her.

After breakfast Olivia walked into her bedroom, it had an ensuite and a  walk in wardrobe filled top to bottom with designer clothes, bags and shoes, she rarely wore the same outfit twice, for someone who's parents never had a lot of time for they made up for it with all of her wardrobe. She would still rather nicer parents over all of this.

Opting on white skinny jeans, tan wedges and a lemon spaghetti strap flowy top Olivia wore her dark brown hair in lose curls and made her way to her car, another privilege to keep her 'happy' being the non favourite.

Olivia honked her horn outside her friend's Lori and Andrea's houses who lived next door to one another she smiled to them both as they ran down their paths to hop in her convert-able "ready for 12th grade bitches" Lori remarked as she sat in the passenger as a disappointed Andrea had to make do with the back "what time are the guys meeting us?" Andrea asked as Olivia drove towards school, she ignored her question and the knew why "still not talking to Shane?" Lori asked her friend "a little" Olivia replied not removing her eyes from the road. She hadnt seen much of Shane over the break, he was busy with Rick and T partying and there was a rumour going around last year he had been screwing around in the sports lockup with Zoe Lockheart but he vehemently denied it, Olivia however wasnt so sure she wanted to be with him after all, avoiding him was the better option in her mind.

Pulling up at school she rolled her eyes at the same people she had seen since middle school, she could hear Lori and Andrea making the same generic bitchy comments they had made throughout their friendship as they eyed up the other girls, Olivia questioned in her mind if she was that bitchy too and she knew she was, only just realising it which made her feel slightly bad "Liv check out that guy on the bike" Lori spoke patting her friend on the shoulder turning her attention to the brooding, sandy blond guy wearing a black tank and cargo pants, parking his motorcycle "if he wasnt so tragic looking id make a beeline for him" Andrea quipped casuing Lori to laugh, Olivia let out a fake giggle to fit in but she felt there really was no need for them to be so judgy all the time, they didnt have to be those cheerleaders.

As they walked down the hallway Olivia watched as people moved from her way, spreading side to side to let her pass like she was royalty, being head cheerleader it usually came with the territory, that and Shane scared most of the male population at the school with his threats that no one look at Olivia. Lori and Andrea walked by each of her sides, she noticed they smiled proudly as they walked along side her, like this was what life was all about. "There is my princess!" Shane whispered in Olivia's ear making her jump and smacking her ass loudly in front of everyone, as she turned to face him she saw Rick playing tonsil tennis with Lori pressed up against his locker acting out sounds from a porno movie. She pulled a face at her loved up friends "Shane, not here okay" Olivia warned him to not do that, she wasnt happy seeing him and seeing him so nonchalant at not having seen her most of this summer, but she could feel herself weakening as she connected with his dark brown eyes "double date tonight whatcha say?" He asked resting his muscular arm above her head on her locker as he made eyes towards Rick and Lori who had finally come up for air at this point. "Guess so" she replied trying to play hard to get "baby you cant say no to me" he teased flashing her his muscles "stop loving yourself Shane" Olivia laughed his ego off playfully slapping his arm. "Rick, who's that disease waking our way?" Shane called out to Rick who was about to kiss Lori again, Rick shrugged and looked to TDog who looked as blank as he did, they both turned to Shane to see what he was going to do and with that he barged his shoulder into the guy Olivia and the girls had spotted outside and forced him harshly into a locker with a loud crash "what the fuck is your problem douchebag!" The sandy blonde guy reacted pushing Shane back hard, good for him Olivia thought. Before Shane could react again Rick stood in his way "woah man, not on the first day back. Come on" he warned Shane who was seething at the other boy's face, the guy stared Shane out before walking away "welcome to Woodbury High asshole! I'll see you around!" Shane goaded as he relented and punched his locker "that was mature" Olivia told him sarcastically as the hallway fell silent, all watching the new kid walk away.
