"Okay" Olivia shrugged and headed towards her room but her father stopped her.
"No, if you leave with him you can go now. As you are" he smirked spitfully. Narrowing her eyes at her father she knew he was thinking she would give in and stay, all her beautiful clothes, her possessions and her jewellery were enough to keep her. How wrong he was.
Olivia looked to Daryl who tilted his head with a weary smile, the situation in front of him hurting what it was doing to Olivia.
And then she looked to her mother. Someone who she had just turned a huge corner with was now looking away from her daughter clearly siding with her husband.
Olivia let out a scoffed laugh and shook her head. Grabbing her keys and her handbag which were in the living room she, followed by Daryl left the Blake home.
"Olivia" Daryl sighed showing concern "its fine, lets go" her eyes pleaded with him to just leave what was her house and say no more. He nodded and walked down the drive to his bike, surprised to see her following he turned to face her "im not giving him the satisfaction of cancelling my car insurance or having the cops track it" Olivia spoke adamant and he handed her his helmet and waited for her to get a grip on his sides before driving back to his trailer.
He drove at a speed, safe enough for him to handle and fast enough for him to get Olivia back to his to offer her comfort at what just happened.
He opened the trailer door and allowed her to enter first, this was a second home for her and he smiled when she put her bag where she usually slung it. This was going to be her home now too.
"Im sorry for how dinner went" Daryl sighed showing empathy. "I didnt think the dude would react like that" he added lifting his arm for her to nestle in. "Im not even mad about that man, I knew he would be so petty and spiteful. Im just pissed with my mom. How could she stand there and not say anything? She just cut me out" Olivia spoke wiping tears from her eyes. "You know you can live here right Olivia?" he offered, he knew it was far from her house but he did know she always seemed happy to be there.
"I know my father is ripping apart my room as we speak" she spoke disregarding Daryl's words, she felt in a trance as she could visually see her father's actions. Ripping apart her photo wall, slinging her clothes out from the walk in wardrobe, nosing in all her drawers whilst her mother stands open mouthed in the doorway. Olivia shook her head at what had happened but like she said she was upset with her mother more than anything else.
"Truth is I had a feeling he would do this" Olivia spoke leaning up from Daryl's embrace, he looked confused as if to wonder why she invited him round for dinner for it to cause what it did. "I was just waiting for it all to happen" she added, it didn't help his confusion but he listened anyway, she took a deep breath and puffed it out with a fed up sigh. "I was trying to find the time, more like courage to tell him I was not going to the college he wanted me to go" she revealed, to Daryl it sounded pretty petty but now he knew her family life he knew her father would of had a fit and most likely thrown her out "I wanna go beauty school, I'm not academic even he knew that, bribing the college wouldn't of made a difference to me it would of just been a lie" Olivia spoke "I don't even wanna be on the cheer squad anymore, I haven't for a while, my mom pushed me and pushed me until I got higher up the squad, I'm living the life she wish she had" she added, Daryl listened to every word, he knew it all anyway, after getting to know Olivia as deep as he had he knew her dreams didnt sit with the cheer team, or being Queen B at school and he picked up on that in just a week of being at Woodbury High. "I just wish I had planned it better, I have this outfit on me and nothing else" she sighed eyeballing her choice of outfit to leave home in, rather sarcastically.
"Will he come after you?" Daryl asked sounding worried, regardless of his opinion on her father even if Olivia shared it he knew the power that man had in the town. Olivia didnt respond, she knew in her heart he wouldn't, he'd try and buy her back but that was as far as it would go. "nope" she bluntly replied "he'll get mom to call or even Penny to say I have a new car, or a new wardrobe or even some white gold waiting for me but that will be it, he wont chase me, he will just cut me out" she replied, Daryl shook his head in frustration, at least his father told him he hated him with a beating so he knew where he stood but her father used power to get his own way and snapped like a toddler if he didnt get it.
"Daryl, it doesn't matter now. I'm not going back. Ever." she snapped.
