Olivia blushed when she caught eyes with Daryl, tucking a lose strand of hair behind her ear she smiled "I didnt think you actually would turn up" she spoke as she unlocked her car allowing them both inside "I had nothing else to do" he playfully shrugged.

Olivia watched Daryl's mouth open slightly when they pulled into her large driveway approaching her house, it was a mansion compared to Daryl's trailer but nonetheless it probably wasnt exactly what he was expecting.

"You not got a valet for a place like this" Daryl teased again, Olivia laughed "actually today is his day off" she teased him back. "But the butler works tonight" she added as they stepped out the car. Daryl whistled 'wow-like' as he took it all in, Olivia turned her key in the lock and opened her front door and stepped inside followed by Daryl. She could hear the tv coming from the living room and motioned Daryl to follow her so she could introduce him to her mother.

"Mom, this is Daryl, my, er, my friend" Olivia said looking confused at Daryl not knowing exactly how to introduce him, "hello Daryl" her mother grinned turning to face him thus turning the grin into a disgusted frown upon seeing him. Daryl kept his hands awkwardly in his pockets, he had aimed to remove them to greet her mother but, well, she looked at him like dirt so what was the point? Olivia knew deep down her mother would look at him like that, after all it was how she saw the hired help, for years her mother had been calling the maid Gabriella when her name was actually Joan, just to prove the point that her family and home were a lot better than hers. "Anyway mom, we are going upstairs" Olivia spoke in a fed up sigh, breaking the slight tension that was forming as her mother studied Daryl from head to toe.

"She is such an embarrassment" Olivia whispered to Daryl as they walked back into the marbled hallway and up to her bedroom. Daryl was hit in the face by the fruity fragrances in Olivia's room, it was the most girliest place he had ever been, if Barbie was real life this would be her room. "Take a seat there and there is the remote" Olivia pointed to her bed, to not ruffle the perfectly made bed, she smirked as she watched Daryl dust himself down and sit akwardly on the edge of the bed. "Want a soda?" She offered reaching into her mini fridge and tossing him a can before he had even answered. "So how was practice?" Daryl asked, he could not of been sitting more uncomfortably on her bed if he tried, he was trying to sit casually but his body was merely leaning on the edge of it whilst hoping Olivia wouldnt notice but she had. She let out a little giggle when she took the soda from his hands and shoved him onto her bed properly "I was trying to keep it neat!" Daryl played it down as he readjusted himself on the bed so he was sitting next to Olivia "practice never happened" she mentioned taking a big swig from her can "turns out our team is getting an extra member, well in 9 months or so" she added looking at Daryl to see if he worked out her little innuendo, he looked confused for a moment but then it dawned on him "holy shit who's knocked up?" He asked in shock, Olivia smirked at how much of a gossiper he sounded "Andrea" she revealed "but you cant tell anyone i told you!" She added placing her hand over his mouth as she spoke "yea, I have plenty of people to tell" Daryl spoke with sarcasm once she removed her hand. "I didnt mean it like that, just act shocked or something when it comes out" Olivia babbled.

She rolled her eyes when there was a knock at the door, she knew it was he mother coming to pry, sighing she grunted for her mother to enter "honey, can I have a word?" She asked opening the door but not entering "give me a sec" she mentioned to Daryl as she walked into the hallway "are you on drugs?" Her mother asked her daughter who was pretty stunned to say the least "what?!" Olivia snapped crossing her arms, her mother cleared her throat "well, is there a reason you have a drug dealer in your room?" She quipped in response, Olivia huffed "mom! Daryl is not a drug dealer! He is my friend, and we are not on drugs! is that okay with you?" Olivia snapped turning her back on her mother "you are so shallow and judgemental sometimes it sickens me" she added cutting her eyes at her mother.

Slamming her door behind her she smiled at Daryl who had clearly heard everything that was said "I am nothing like my mother as you can tell" she smiled "in fact im nothing like my father either" she mentioned matter of factly, Olivia was mortified at the situation she was now in, this wasnt the best idea bringing him back here but she really didnt think her mother would be that rude. Daryl faked a smile "it could of been worse, I could of been confused with the hired help" he looked downtrodden even if he was trying to hide it "maybe this wasnt such a good idea, maybe I should be getting back" he sighed putting his soda down on her dressing table "its probably too late to have drug dealers in your home anyway" he added sarcastically, it was clear he was hurt by her mothers comments and Olivia was too, no one saw Daryl how she saw Daryl. "I wanna hang out with you" Olivia whispered in a whine, she thought she had said that in her head but instead she said it and Daryl heard every word. "Liv, I dont belong here" he sighed motioning his arms around her room, she listened to him but felt distracted that he had called her Liv rather than Olivia. What did that mean? "And as I know you, you dont either" he added, this time she nodded in agreement at least it wasnt just her who thought this wasnt where she should be in life. Daryl walked closer to her door "No, please dont" Olivia tried to plea for a second, internally scathing her mother for being so flat out rude, Daryl was stronger than this, after all he had dealt with Shane and some of the other school's judgemental comments her mother was practically as childish as them anyway. "Its late anyway, if I stay any later your mother will call the cops" he let out a flat chuckle at her pathetic-ness. Olivia gave up, she too wouldnt want anyone to suffer her mother longer than they should have, she walked him to her front door, not once did Daryl look at her weird as she laced her arm through his and lent on his shoulder "shit, I left my car keys upstairs!" Olivia groaned slipping her arm out his but he stopped her "its fine, I'll walk back" he offered, it was a long walk back and besides it was dark out, not that Daryl couldnt handle himself "you can't walk its too late" she dismissed, Daryl stopped her from dashing upstairs "lets rain check, tomorrow we can do something, just not here" he suggested in a whisper, he raised eyebrows as he spoke which confused her until she turned to face her mother in the doorway, spying on them. Very obviously.

"I'll see you tomorrow okay. I'll be safe, I'm a big boy" Daryl teased before kissing her cheek, when he removed his lips he looked at her embarrassed, it was out of his character to act that impulsively but Olivia liked it. He scurried out the door before she could plant a kiss on his lips, something she wanted to do so badly right then.

"You are never to see that boy again" her mother's voice deafened the silence that had fallen in the aftermath of Daryl closing the door.
