All of a sudden Andrea caught eyes with Olivia. Shane quickly turned to see why Andrea's face had dropped so suddenly.
"Shit, Princess" he exclaimed, gulping as his face waved over with guilt. Olivia stood still, unable to hear the music from inside and unable to hear Shane's voice. It was like everything went into slow motion. "Don't!" Olivia snapped getting closer to him and giving him an almighty shove "Don't you fucking Princess me!" she yelled. Placing her hands on her forehead in disbelief she yelled some more "this whole time? this whole time? this whole time you two carried on behind my back?! what the hell did I ever do to you Andrea? I mean from you I could expect it its not like you were actually faithful to me!" She seethed in their direction.
Olivia wasn't going deaf, the music really had stopped and from the corner of her eye she could see a small crowd gathering at the window overlooking the garden as Rick, Lori and Daryl came out to see what was going on. "you two need to leave. now" Olivia snapped turning to face Daryl who quickly put an arm around her to see what was up. "It wasn't like that, if you let me explain Liv you'll see" Andrea whined, from that one statement Lori worked out what was going on and she looked pretty shocked. "Can you make them go please" Olivia pleaded frustrated to Rick and Daryl who still looked confused but were willing to oblige. Andrea walked out first followed by Shane who quite clearly wanted to speak to Olivia some more but right now she just couldn't.
"So he is the father?" Lori asked just for clarification. "yup" Olivia bluntly replied before blowing out a laugh in disbelief "I don't care he is the father, I know now I never loved him like I thought I did. But why did they lie to me? lie to all of us? like when did it happen? where was I? how did we not notice?" Olivia rambled her questions. Rick and Daryl's expression changed when they too had worked out what was happening "I never thought Andrea was like that, not with her friends boyfriends" Rick shook his head. TDog quietly but briskly strolled outside "I sent everyone home, it looked pretty tense out here and they are all going to The Point, I said we might see them there" he mentioned as he got closer to the group.
Olivia mouthed "thankyou" to him as the group all lit up a cigarette to digest the news. "Shane needs an almighty ass whooping for this" Lori broke the silence, Rick and Daryl seemed to nod in unison at the idea. Olivia shook her head "and what will that achieve?" she paused "they screwed up and they got caught. Andrea is going to need us more than ever now and Shane, well this is his mess now" she added gaining confused looks from her friends and a scowling Daryl who was probably enjoying the idea of beating on Shane for more than one reason.
"Girl, she is lucky she fucked your boyfriend and not mine because id rip her eyes out" Lori somewhat applauded her friend for being so calm but Olivia didn't feel like killing Andrea and hating on Shane, of course he was an asshole their relationship and not only did he cheat on her when she wouldn't sleep with him he had now got her best friend pregnant but something inside her stopped her hating them both. That reason was Daryl, meeting him had changed her life, her relationship with him was more than what she ever would of had with Shane.
"This is going to fly round the school like wild fire" Olivia shook her head again as she finished her sentence, she was still in disbelief Andrea would get herself caught up like that with a guy like Shane. "why are you defending her Liv? stop being so nice, they broke your trust whether you are with Daryl now or not. They lied to you and you would still be in the dark if you hadn't heard them tonight" Rick snapped, T and Lori both agreed, even Daryl nodded at his words. "Shane is a douchebag as well" Daryl added on making the group laugh, it was clearly something he had been dying to say probably since Shane showed up half wasted to the party.
Lori and Olivia felt the cool breeze wave over them and they both rubbed their hands over their arms to warm up. Daryl placed his arms around Olivia and stood behind her, his arms made her feel so much better, thinking to herself she knew she would be devastated if Daryl was the father. This really was true love. "I think we should call it a night" Rick sighed, he rubbed his eyes, the alcohol must be wearing off and he had this information to process. "Thanks for coming guys, I'm really sorry it got cut short" Olivia brought them all in for a group hug and they all said their byes.
Daryl let Olivia go and followed her inside. She took one look at the hap-hazardly way TDog had cleared up the mess and let out a laugh "he tried I suppose" she sighed. She stopped Daryl from going to tidy by grabbing his arm "fancy a quick drink before bed?" she suggested, Daryl looked sceptical, to him he was expecting Olivia to be upset, and to him he wouldn't of been mad about it, Shane was her boyfriend, its not as if she was single for long since they had split. He nodded and followed her as she poured them both a spirit over some ice. "lets sit by the pool, we can smoke that way" Olivia suggested and walked out the French doors to the sound of the calm water in the pool and a few crickets making some noise.
"Olivia you can be upset, I wont be mad or jealous" Daryl explained as he sat knees to his chest watching Olivia paddle her feet in the water. " the thing is, I'm really not mad and I know I should be, he was my boyfriend for a long time in highschool terms. And Andrea I've known since 5th grade, Ive been there throught braces, blue highlights and her punk days" Olivia replied, smiling wearily at her memory of Andrea "I'm just mad that they lied, am I that unapproachable that she couldn't come to me? after all I said about me not being with happy with Shane like I am with you, or how I love you and I never loved him" she added. Daryl looked up from the mesmerising pool as Olivia spoke, he never had a girl speak about him to her friend like that. "I guess I'm just hurt she lied more than I am that she slept with him when I was most likely with him still. Andrea knew mine and Shane's fights and for someone to know the goings on of your relationship good or bad and then they sleep together it just, it just hurts." Olivia sighed. Daryl lifted his arm for her to come closer for a cuddle.

Leaning her head on his shoulder, she breathed in his scent and it seemed to make all the world better, it made her smile. "Daryl" she spoke, he stroked the top of her shoulder with his finger to indicate to go on "just so you know, if you did this I'd be a wreck on the floor" she joked but she knew she meant it, even the joke made her heart twang.
