After Olivia freshened up and borrowed one of Daryl's tee shirts to wear they set out to the beach. A part of her was nervous incase her friends or anyone from school were there to hang out on the weekend, she just didnt know what she was nervous for, did she care what people thought of her hanging with Daryl? Or was she wanting to stay under the radar this weekend and away from everything and everyone.

Daryl pulled her arms around him tighter as he drove, It was the first time she had ever been on a bike and was scared to say the least but the more he drove the more she felt the adrenaline run through her. She felt awkward with her arms around him but it was how you did it from what she had seen being on the road.

Eventually Daryl came to a stop and Olivia was mesmerised, it was peaceful and beautiful. She quickly took her sneakers off and let her toes sink into the sand as she walker down to the sea, she didnt even hear Daryl come up behind her after he had parked his bike. "This is gorgeous" she gushed in a whisper not being able to take her eyes from it all. Daryl grinned "its better at night but it is something right?" He spoke proudly "no one knows its here?" She asked confused as to how and why this place can become unlooked "never seen a soul here" Daryl reassured her. Olivia felt like she was in heaven, well at least she was looking at it.

"What do you here?" She asked sitting, patting the sand for him to join her on it "its my escape" Daryl spoke, Olivia watched him as he gazed at the lapping ocean he seemed as mesmerised with it all as she did and he had seen this place a hundred times. "If school is lame or im bored at home I come here, or if i cant sleep" he finished "thats nice, if I came with Shane he would tell everyone else or decide the first thing he wants to do is get laid right here" she joked "he'd ruin this place" she laughed, stopping instantly when she saw Daryl look annoyed "dont tell anyone about this place please Olivia" he asked of her, he seemed worried this place would lose its secludedness "oh no I wouldnt, I was just saying, you know, Shane is a "she stammered, pausing again when Daryl look awkward "he's an animal" she finished allowing the awkwardness of bringing Shane up to take effect.

They sat taking in the view for a while, Olivia thought back to when she classed The Mall as her escape and being constantly praised and complimented by Lori and Andrea who both wanted to be in her position from day one. Olivia enjoyed it, being in power, deciding what they would do for the weekend and choosing the best dress for prom but it became tiresome and fast. Of course Olivia would win prom queen, of course Olivia would have the popular jock boyfriend, of course girls would copy her outfit and try to be her and of course her parties were the go to event of the year. Looking over to Daryl who was lost in thought she realised he would never of been invited to her parties, he would never of been prom king with her and why? Because he wasnt a sheep like her group, he did his own thing and Olivia was pretty sure the material things didnt make him happy in life.

"What are you thinking about?" Olivia asked breaking the silence, it was too peaceful not to daydream into the horizon. Daryl cleared his throat "just how you are the only person, i mean girl, i've bought here" he spoke "ever" he added, Olivia looked skeptical, raising an eyebrow she quizzed him "bet you say that to all the girls!" She playfully pushed him, Daryl blushed red instantly "you are serious?" She remarked feeling a little shocked he really hadnt bought anyone here, "not even your girlfriends?" She asked, she noticed Daryl fiddling with his laces he looked uncomfortable. He wasnt as open as her other friends.

"I've never really had girlfriends" he began "well not long enough for me to bring them here" he added, as he looked out to the lapping tide he spoke again "mainly they are just you know, fun" "oh" Olivia whispered, "i should be honoured then" she teased making him laugh.

"Come, lets walk along the beach, I love doing that, havent done it in such a long while" Olivia suggested pulling Daryl up to his feet. Walking towards the cliff face they spoke about school, its not what Olivia wanted to discuss but she felt rude and imposing if she did, but she worked herself round to doing so "these girls you have, its just sex right?" She asked, Daryl cleared his throat again nervously, he was a prude by the look of it, which she found odd if he had a few sexual conquests, maybe he was just real private about it all, her group of friends spoke of nothing but sex, especially Shane who would lie about him and Olivia to sound cool in front of his team mates. Daryl looked at her confused "yea pretty much" he laughed rubbing the back of head "didnt have you down as a guy like that, not that its a bad thing but its just always been like a jock thing to do" Olivia responded, now she knew Shane was up to it too, she felt everyone but her must be having a friend with benefit type relationship. "Its no biggy" he shrugged, Olivia folded her arms as they walked "probably how Shane felt then" she sighed, Daryl looked guilty and stopped in his tracks, she could tell he was going to apologise for reminding her of Shane but Olivia was the one who bought it up, she didnt care but she felt like she had to do what she was about to and she took his hand and pulled him close to her and hastily placed a tender peck on his lips, her nerves were stopped when Daryl eventually kissed back and she placed her hand behind his head. "Maybe I should get in on this 'fun' " Olivia spoke using air quotes "see what all the fuss is about" she sighed with a hint of sarcasm "no! You cant!" Daryl exclaimed he sounded panicked "oh yea? Why not? Am I not pretty enough for it?" She snapped.

"No, its not that, its just, well, you are too good to be a girl like that, you are worth more than that" Daryl admitted stammering.

Olivia felt that feeling of butterflies scurry across her again.
