I came home to Anna and mum waiting for me.
Mum: Michelle?
Michelle: I'm here! Sorry!
Mum: where were you?
Michelle: I went out last night
Mum: but it's 7 in the morning! Did you go off and sleep with someone?
I stay silent.
Mum: Michelle! Don't you realize you have a daughter!
Michelle: I do realize that, plus this guy is incredible, I slept with Ringo starr!
Mum: Ringo? How on earth?
Michelle: I went to the cavern and met him there, he wants to see me again (smiles)
Mum: that's great! Now go say hi to Anna, the poor girl missed you
I walked down the hallway and Anna pops out startling me.
Michelle: hey honey!
She gives me a tight hug, I sorta do regret not being here last night...

As I was getting into it, my mother walks in my room without warning.
Helen: what are you reading?
Laura: nothing
Helen: is that the journal from my closet?
She walks over to my bed taking the journal from my hands.
Helen: who said you could go through my things?
Laura: no one, but-
Helen: you weren't suppose to read this dammit!
Laura: why not? Did you have a humongous crush on Ringo?
Helen: no, I didn't...
She sets the journal down, and she looks at me with tears in her eyes.
Laura: what's wrong mom?
Helen: I guess you're old enough
Laura: what is it?
Helen: Laura, you're not really a Laura, and I'm not really your mom...
Laura: w-what?
Helen: this is your real mothers journal, Daisy...
