I was surrounded by lights, and I could only see a dark shadow, the lights were too bright for me to open my eyes so I kept them closed.
Ringo: Michelle, are you alright? Please open your eyes
Michelle: it's too...bright
I had said it so faintly, but the feeling was coming back, I could feel Ritchie holding my hand tightly.
Ringo: I can turn it off for you
He let's go of my hand to turn off the light, I heard him flip the switch and I slowly opened them.
Ringo: better?
Michelle: (nods) better..
Ringo: why didn't you tell me?
Michelle: tell you what?
Ringo: yer pregnant
Michelle: oh
Ringo: I would've never let you gulp that drink down if I knew, why though? It almost died...
I looked at him and my eyes start to water.
Michelle: I was scared okay? When I was first pregnant with Anna, I told her dad and he immediately left me, I was afraid you were going to do the same
Ringo: I would never do that...
Michelle: that's what they all say
Ringo: well I'm not all of them, I love ye Michelle and I'm so thankful the two of you are alive
Michelle: (smiles slightly) your going to be a dad
Ringo: and your going to be a mom, again!
I giggle and he comes closer to give me a hug, a tight one. I'm relieved for two things, the fact that Ringo is happy about this, and that the baby was going to be okay, but there was only one problem left, how will Anna react to becoming a big sister?
