In My Life...Who Am I?

Laura: well Ringo had also written a journal, I just finished it

Anna: oh yeah, wish mom had written one for me, can I see?

Laura: of course

I take out the journal and as I'm handing it to her, a small sunflower wrapped in wax paper had fallen out. I pick it up and examine it.

Anna: nice bookmark

Laura: yeah, weird because the last part mentioned when he spent a special day with us

Anna gives back the flower and I continue to look at it as she flips through the pages. She chuckles a bit then looks at me.

Anna: do you have moms journal?

I pull the journal out of my bag and hand it to her, on the first page she starts to tear up.

Anna: can't believe this is her (sighs) it had to be Ringo...

Laura: Ringo isn't bad sis, he's gotten older and he knows what he's done wrong

Anna: you really want me to forgive him? Look at where were at

Laura: I understand but, he did give us a better life, I'm completely happy with mine-

Anna: oh I remember when mom told me she was pregnant, I was so excited

Laura: are you even listening?

Anna: look sis, I had a rough life, I've been to many foster homes because people always died, and it's all Ringo's fault

Laura: just please Anna, I beg you..

Anna: I don't want to, but I'll think about it if you shush

I smile as she looks back at the book..

Laura: so you were excited?

Anna: (laughs) yeah, I've always wanted a little sister....
