I was so shocked to find out that Anna was in America. Why would she be there though? To attend college? Or because she was forced to move there with her family?

Laura: which state?

Helen: it says California

Laura: this is just weird!

Ringo: she's 18 luv, she's allowed to do whatever she wants

Laura: which means I may never get the chance to see her

Barbara: whys that?

Laura: she's far away...

Barbara: that shouldn't prevent you from visiting her, is her number on there?

I looked at Helen as she takes out a paper and starts writing the information.

Barbara: you can try to give her a call

I smiled as Helen rips out the paper and hands it to me.

Helen: don't lose that thing!

Laura: I won't

I looked at the paper, I looked at her number and I couldn't wait to call her! We all walked out of the library and headed back to Ringo's house, where I immediately picked up the phone and dialed her number.

Helen: please don't be upset if she doesn't want to talk

I ignored Helen and I started to hear a ring. It kept ringing and I was hoping for it stop and hear a voice but it just kept ringing. *Ring* *Ring* and *Ring* until it stopped...."please leave a message for Anna after the beep* and it beeped...

Laura: Anna, it's me Lau- I mean Daisy, you probably don't remember me but, I'm your little sister and it would mean so much if you called back...thanks

I hung up and frowned...

Helen: that was good honey..

Laura: what if she doesn't call back?

Barbara: I'm sure she will, I'm sure she will recognize you

Helen: plus cheer up!

Laura: why?

Helen: tomorrow's Christmas!
