Starting their date together, they went straight to the mall.
"What do you wanna do?" Dipper asked.
"Just hang out, I guess." Pacifica responded.
They walked around for a while mostly window shopping. Dipper threw around puns and jokes. Pacifica, pretending to laugh at some, and nearly crying in humor at others.
Pacifica bought a "few" pair of shoes and Dipper was left carrying them.
They both eventually decided to see a movie playing at the theater.
Pacifica was dead serious on seeing the new romantic movie that came out, but Dipper was able to negotiate it down to a "rom-com" that came out as well. Pacifica, a little disappointed, agreed to see it. Dipper didn't know what he was getting himself into.
"How'd you like it?" Pacifica said with a cartoon smile plastered on her face.
"Like it? It was filled with cheap gags, cliche romance, cheesy punchlines, and dead memes." Dipper ranted then looked at Pacifica.
"Just my kinda movie." He gave a fake smile.
Pacifica laughed.
"So how's life been without me?" Pacifica asked.
Dipper put his hands in his pockets.
"Pretty normal actually." Dipper joked.
Pacifica rolled her eyes.
"No, in my opinion it was... lackluster."
"Interesting words for someone who was hesitant to go out in the first place." Pacifica shot.
The two stepped out as it began to snow violently. The temperature dropped dramatically and suddenly.
"Cmon, let's get outta this weather." Dipper led Pacifica 10 minutes outside of gravity falls to a quaint apartment building
They both ran in.
Their slippery footsteps from the snow outside echoed as they walked up the stairs.
Dipper juggled his keychain and opened a door on the third floor.
It opened up to a roomy family room with a couch and tv already set up. A hall on the right led to a bedroom and bathroom, Pacifica could only presume. And an open-concept kitchenette to the left. The walls were dark red with a brick fireplace below the tv. Boxes and plastic bins of unpackaged belonging littered the whole apartment.
"Wow, this is a nice place." Pacifica commented.
"I know right. Sorry, I'm not really done unpacking as you can tell." Dipper rubbed his head.
"So what were you saying outside?" She asked.
"I was just saying how I thought something was missing when you were gone."
"Yeah I-I understand. Dipper I felt the same way, I don't even know how to describe how happy I am just to be here, even if it is only for a couple of days, thank you!"
"Well I-" he was interrupted by Pacifica's body on his.
She was kissing him, like really kissing him.
Dipper was forced onto the couch, him under Pacifica. They both were now kissing each other.
With the passing moment, sharing every emotion hidden in that conversation with one another.
Not just that, but every feeling of loneliness and sorrow they had mutually felt for the past two years.
Even if it was just for a moment, they wanted to stay like that forever.
Pacifica knew they couldn't. Little did Dipper know, she was hiding something. Something that would shatter everything Dipper thought he knew about Pacifica.
If he ever found out, he would never look at her the same. And Pacifica knew that.
