The Two Knights and One Princess (Mika x Reader x Yuu)

Chapter 8

"Very, Very surprising Mika-kun~" The purple-haired noble cooed at the blonde. "You let (Name) and your princess go, even after all this time you've been searching for him."

Mikaela didn't respond to the obnoxious noble. "And, you even drank (Name)'s blood which-"

"That's enough." Mikaela threatened in a monotone voice as he interrupted Ferid.

"..." The noble watched with a grin dancing on his lips as Mikaela begin to walk away from him.

Several things were racing through Mikaela's mind. Saving (Name) from those filthy humans and how Yuu went against him and took (Name) back to where all the humans were. Did Yuu not trust him anymore?.. He felt like they were enemies, more than friends. Both fighting for (Name)'s love.

When Yuu had taken (Name), Mikaela had come to a conclusion. He loved (Name). The way her (Hair Length), (Hair Color) hair shined brightly and that smile she always gave him. It always made him happy to see her smiling at him, and only him.

But she wasn't here to give him that comforting  smile.

"I swear, I will definitely save you, (Name)." He muttered, continuing on his way somewhere, but anywhere where Ferid wasn't there.

Meanwhile..

Like the kids got to know Mikaela, the kids got to know Yuu as well. Like Mikaela was, he was really great with them. (Name) was happy the kids trusted Yuu now, it kind of felt like they were a whole big family now.

Only Mikaela was missing.

(Name) woke up to feel herself being pinned against the wall. She stared straight into dilated eyes. "H-Huh?.." She asked.

The figure gave her a smirk as they traced their finger around the nape of her neck. They leaned their mouth towards her ear. "(Name), we've waited long enough~" The figure huskily cooed in her ear. The voice was enough to make her knees buckle underneath her and shivers go down her spine.

She felt another mouth lean towards her other ear. "Which one of us will you choose?~"

(Name) gasped as she sat up in bed, her heart pounding out of her chest. What was that?... More importantly, who were those two people in her dream? Why would she have such a dream like that in the first place?.. Her train of thought stopped when she heard a knock at her door.

"O-Oh! Come in..!" She called as she hugged her knees, her face flushed. She heard the door open and saw Yuu standing there.

"Hey, Lieu-" He was interrupted when he saw her flushed face. "Are, you okay?.." He asked raising his brow.

(Name) thought it was strange, that second voice in her dream she just had, it sounded just like Yuu's. It couldn't have been Yuu... could it have been? No! No way Yuu would ever do something like that! Besides it was just a dream. A figment of her imagination. Her eyes widened realizing she still hadn't answered his question and she returned her attention back to Yuu. "O-Oh! Um, Yeah I'm fine. Sorry for worrying you."

Yuu frowned. He knew something was wrong, otherwise she wouldn't have looked so nervous. He sighed, deciding he'd ask her about it later. "Alright, just, don't push yourself," He tells her. "What I was going to say was, Lieutenant Colonel Guren wanted to speak with you, but if you're not feeling good, I can just tell him you don't want to go I-"

"No," She interrupted. "Sorry, for interrupting, but I'll be alright." She added with a weak smile.

Yuu gave her a doubtful smile but chuckled. "Alright, let's go." He says leaving the room and motioning her for her to follow him. (Name) nodded and left her room, following after him.

"What did he want?.." She asked as they made their way towards his office.

"You'll see." He told her with a grin and chuckled. (Name) gave him a doubtful smile and laughed at him. He seemed really happy as they walked. But she wasn't going to ask him why.

Once they had arrived, Yuu opened the door and walked in with (Name) trailing behind him. "Oi, Shinya, how many times do I have to tell you not to-" He cut off his sentence as he looked up from his papers and back at the two.  "Oh, it's just you, Yuichiro. And (Name)." He said with a grin as she stepped out from behind Yuu.

(Name) thought that the man had looked really really familiar. She just couldn't place her finger on it. "I get that you must be very confused. But I will explain everything in due time. Now, there's something important I need to ask you." He told her.

"What is it?" She asks with a slight tilt in her head.

"How would you feel about joining the Moon Demon Company?"

"Huh?.." (Name) asks quite confused.

"The Moon Demon Company's goal is to exterminate all the vampires and restore the world. There is a certain vampire extermination unit that specializes in that sort of thing. Yuichiro is in that unit, along with other skilled soldiers. But between you and me, he's not even that skilled." He whispered the last part smirking, causing you to giggle a little.

Yuu's eyes widened as pink began to paint his cheeks. "Oi! I am to skilled!" He shouted angrily and crossed his arms with an annoyed scowl dancing on his lips.

"Anyways, just- think about it for me, okay?" He asked her.

"Okay, I will, thank you." (Name) replies and bows and stands back up straight. After they had left his office they were walking towards the kitchen. The dream never left her mind, and she couldn't feel but it was way too real to be a dream.

"Hey, are you okay?.. This morning you looked really stressed... Did you have some sort of nightmare?.." He asked her.

She was snapped back to reality when she heard him ask the question.

"Well, it was something like that.." She answered.

"Do you want to tell me about it?.. Y-You don't have to! I'm just worried about you.. that's all."

"I-" She was interrupted when they heard a loud crash coming from the kitchen along with loud pandemonium and yells.

"We better go check that out!" He said chuckling and with a nod, the two ran as fast as they could towards the kitchen.

Once they arrived, Yuu couldn't help but burst into laughter. There was breakfast splattered everywhere in the kitchen along with some bubbles coming from the dishwasher.

"Yuu-Kun! Thank goodness you're here! Shinoa-Chan, Mitsuba-Chan, and Hotaru-Chan wanted to make us breakfast and they wouldn't let me or Kimizuki-Kun help them and they broke the dishwasher!" Yoichi told him nervously.

"Oi! Stop laughing at me and help us clean this up, baka!" Mitsuba shouted angrily with severe blush painted on her face.

(Name) couldn't help but laugh either, seeing Hotaru all messy and covered in bubbles. Yet she still continued to try to make breakfast. She couldn't help but laugh along with Yuu.

So this is what it was like to have a family. Always laughing, and being happy together, even though they could be a pain sometimes.

It was the best feeling in the world.
