Chapter 15: Taken
My eyes fluttered several times before I opened them properly, only to see a bright, white light flooding my vision. Oh no, I thought, this wasnt the end was it? The white light? But I forced my fingers to move slightly. I could feel my bones, my body, no, this couldn't be the end.
My surroundings came a little clearer to me. I could tell I was in a room, one that was painted a dark grey, or a black, I wasn't completely sure. I tried to move.
"Ouch! I winced, pain surged all through my body. 'Where the hell am I?"
I tried to remember my previous memories. Yeah, I know my name, my family but what happened before I got in this mysterious place. I could actually be in bedroom. I might be asleep, I might be dreaming this. Suddenly I remembered the fight I had with mum, I feel so bad. Where did I go after that? OH MY GOSH, THOMAS! I think I went there. Oh the poor guy, he felt bad. I remember apologising to him then I . . . went for a walk. I don't remember past that. How long did I go for a walk for?
"WHERE AM I!" I whined.
"I can answer that," a voice called.
I nearly had a heart attack.
"Wh-who's there?" I stuttered.
"I can answer all your questions," the voice came again.
I could see the outline of a figure infront of me although I still didn't know who it was.
I THINK I REMEMBERED NOW! I remember laying on the grass, looking up at the stars in the sky. I was going to go home but I wanted to see them for a little longer. Then a black car, speeding off, fainted.
The figure now became clear. It was a man who had thin jet black hair, parted in the middle that was down to his shoulders. He was wearing a sort of suite but he had a long coat on. His eyes gleamed red and two of his teeth came to a point.
"I know what you are, you're a vampire," I said.
He gave mean chuckle.
"Really? He said, I already knew that!" He smirked.
I frowned at his sarcasm. I went to stand up but realised my hands were tied to the chair. So I had been kidnapped.
"No way out girly," he yelled.
"Why am I here!" I demanded, trying my best to look tough but I knew it wouldn't work.
"Hm, let me explain,' he started sarcastically, 'does the name Thomas Bennett sound familiar?" He tapped his foot while he waited for an answer.
"H-how do you know him!" I stuttered.
He scoffed
"He's my family."
My stomach and my mouth dropped at the same time. This guy, Thomas' family? The Bennetts were no where near like him.
"What's your name?" I demanded.
"I'll tell you mine name, Indigo, it's Archeron," he spat.
Ugh, what a stalker, he knew my name! Wait, did I tell him?
"Who are you supposed to be? 'Why am I here?" I asked, screwing up my face.
"You are here, because your acting as a blockage, a barricade, a force field, anyway you want to put it," he said, emphasising each word.
