Chapter 20: Bad Boy

THOMAS' POV 

It had now been another week. She wasn't here. I haven't seen her for three weeks now! I'd lost hope. She wasn't coming back. I had nothing to look forward to. I was going crazy, mental, I said what I felt and did what I liked. No one was going to stop me. 

I was sitting in complete darkness, with only the TV on. I was in the lounge room and it was only me awake. I peered around the slightly glowing room and the TV flashed different colours. I was bored. 

"Hm," I said to myself as I walked over to the door and put my shoes on and then a hoodie. 

I looked at the time. 12:59. Alright. I grabbed my mums car keys and opened the door and locking it behind me. I'm only on my L's, haven't got my P's yet but I can still drive, although I shouldn't without an adult in the car. 

I backed out of the driveway and sped of down the road as I turned the music up really, I mean really loud. People on the opposite side of the world could probably hear it but I liked it. 

I drove into down which was dark and empty. Some of the lights outside of shops but the only moving things were flickering lights and rubbish blowing in the wind.

I slowed down past the lolly shop. I could do with some junk so I parked the car and climbed into the back to see what I could find. There was like a bat sorta stick thing in here and sheet. I'll cover up the camera and then smash the window. Sounds good to me!

I jumped out of the car with my 'uses' and moved to the side of the shop. I looked around to see if anyone was coming and then I threw the sheet on top of the camera. I grinned and walked over to the window. I brought back my bat and . . . . SMASH! Glass icicles shattered everywhere. I moved back quickly but a few big shards of glass caught my legs, making blood run down to my shoes. They started to sting but I didn't care and made my way through the window. 

"I'll take some of those, and those and those," I mumbled to myself as I stuffed my pockets with junk. 

it was good enough but before I left I went over to the fridge and pulled out several cans of coke and then I left, opening one can and sculling as much as I could. I opened one of the lolly packets and stuffed my face. 

"Where to now?" I mumbled to myself, my mouth full of food.

I decided on walking over to the park where I supposed I could just sit somewhere and eat. 

I climbed up into the playground equipment where I sat and continued eating and drinking. I was trying to think where I could go next. I kinda felt like ice cream but it would probably melt. 

I left my stuff here and walked over to the small grocer with the sheet and bat again. I did the same with the sheet and then SMASH, shattered the glass, shards falling on my arms and legs, some cutting rather deep. I tried pulling them out, I wasn't sure how many more there were but I don't care. Blood was running down my arms now and onto my clothes but I couldn't feel it. 

I made my way through the aisles to the freezer. Hm, cookies and cream will do. i pulled out a medium tub of that then I went through the other aisles to see what else they had, plus I needed a spoon. 

I arrived at the aisles with the plates and cutlery where I could some large plastic spoons. I grabbed those of the shelf and shoved them into my pocket. What else was there? I needed some glue for school, I'll take those too. I shoved those in my pockets and whatever else I felt like. I moved to the front counter where those really cheap lighters were. I took a few of those, no harm in setting rubbish alight in the bin, gets rid of it.
